I saw a dog get ran over by a passing car. Without even thinking about it, I threw him in my car and took him to the nearest emergency clinic (Pacific Emergency Pet Hosptial). When I got there, the dog was coming to and freaking out. They would not admit him because he didn't have tags and was a stray. While I was waiting for Animal Control, the dog bit me and bled all over the lobby. The receptionist was ignoring me and watching TV. I never saw anyone else that worked there until the Animal Control officer arrived and made them take the dog in. Before I left, the officer said that if I decide to pick up injured animals again, to take them to C.A.R.E. because apparently Pacific is more worried about money than helping hurt animals.
