This place is great! Went to them for a 2nd opinion for my shih tzu and was extremely pleased with the service, compassion and knowledge with how they conduct their business. Fully recommend them for you pets. They talk to you and aren't just in it for the money like some other places out there; hence the 2nd opinion. The doctor is great and diagnosed my dog after she has been dealing with a skin issue for years.

This veterinary clinic is amazing. I’ve been a long time customer and just recently they save my cat’s life. They are caring and go above and beyond with respect to customer service. Dr K and Dr Jenn are truly amazing.

We were so fortunate to find these wonderful vets, Dr K & Dr. Jen for our Bichon, Jasmine!! They were our competent support for 11 years. Both ladies are so professional, knowledgeable, personable and caring. They became very familiar with Jazzy and always strived to understand her needs. They were also most considerate of our concerns and feelings. Especially when Jazzy's body began shutting down both Drs. struggled to keep her going. They showed deeply their genuine compassion and empathy when the unwelcome time came to say farewell. They were very fair and reasonable during the many years of sharing her caregiving. For example, tests were selected only when required and costs were reasonable. We do not hesitate to recommend Dr. K and Dr. Jen to our friends and acquaintances for their pet's care.

Dr. Jenn is the best always feel very special when we take both our dogs in to see her. She shows how much she cares and loves her little furry patients. Highly recommend them for your pets you will never regret going to ten.

Absolutely love this vet clinic and feel like we finally got it right after being through a few clinics in the area over the years. Loving, friendly, compassionate, realistic, supportive....just a few of the words that come to mind. We came and saw Dr. K knowing that our beloved 10 year old cat was sick and we were sort of preparing for the worst. After being to another vet whose advice seemed more based on money, it was so wonderful to meet Dr. K and feel like she was 100% just a good person, which to us is as important as being a great vet. After trying one therapy we knew that we had to put our kitty down, and the whole process (while incredibly painful) was incredibly well handled. So many hugs from Dr. K and we just felt so supported through the whole thing. Still brings tears to my eyes but we were so grateful to have found this vet even for the last few days of our boy's life. When we are ready to bring another fur-baby home we will absolutely be coming back.

Great service, but *be wary of hidden fees*!! The staff are fantastic. We were greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk, and the Dr. Laura Kortschak saw our dog Lola after about 5-10 minutes. Our dog had a small scratch on her side; it was bleeding, so we thought it'd be a good idea to have it looked at. Dr. K. started looking at it, and innocuously asked if she could shave around the area to get a closer look. I said, "Sure!" She took our dog to the back, and returned about 2 minutes later. She said that it was indeed just a scratch and just to let it heal. I then was handed a bill for over $80. They charged me close to $20 just to shave around the cut. Although I'm ok with paying extra fees, I like to know about them first. I don't know if I would come back to this clinic because of this.

We have taken our wonderful pets to Dr. K and Dr. Jan, over the past years. Our dear beloved Heidi was 14 1/4 yrs when it was time for her to go and Dr. K. was so kind to me and gentle with our dear doggie. We had her since she was a puppy and it is a difficult time in our lives. We now have adopted two senior toy poodles and they have been in for their shots and check ups. We have also seen Dr. Jan and they have both been so kind and gentle with our animals. We will continue to stay with this clinic as we know our pets are very well looked after when needed.

You couldn't do better for your pets than going to Dr.K and Dr. Jenn. And the support staff are loving and genuine with the animals. It is very hard to find a practice like this. I am fussy about my dog and I trust them implicitly.

Just moved to the area and I'm so grateful I was referred to South Surrey Veterinary Hospital. They took time to get to know me and my pet. Problem and options explained thoroughly. Great results! Dr. Jen and Dr. K are wonderful and their fees are reasonable. I highly recommend this practice.

We've been seeing Dr. Jen for the past two years for our four animals - one dog and three cats. She and the rest of the staff are always very friendly, approachable, and provide outstanding care. Dr. Jenn often recommends a simpler (and less expensive) option instead of immediately ordering lots of tests, and the dental cleaning ended up costing below the estimate. They all make an effort to make the pets feel comfortable. We have recommended this clinic to a number of friends with pets.

First time going there after leaving South Point Vet and they were great!! My dog is terrified of the vet after some bad experiencs and they went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. Really like how they don't push vaccinations and aren't pushy like other vets suggesting unappropriate costly treatments. Very happy with my first experience!

Both Dr K and Dr Jen are awesome. The staff and the vets genuinely care for your pet as well as the owner. They have always spent extra time caring for all three of my dogs over the past ten years. I would highly recommend them.

I found the staff to be helpful and caring. I dealt with Dr Jen for both of my cats. I found her to be direct about the health problems and a real animal lover. I would highly recommend Dr Jen and the clinic to others.

I can't say enough good things about this clinic. The staff are amazing and Dr.s Kortschak and Meagher are caring, experienced Veterinarians who obviously love animals. After receiving a diagnosis that suggested my dog be euthanized, I sought a second opinion at this clinic. I was immediately impressed with how compassionate these Drs are and I'm happy to say, after a proper diagnosis, my dog is doing great! You know you're in good hands when your Vet kisses your dog's nose!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr.Laura Kortschak Although I met her in the last month of my dear dog Lupe's life, she dealt with my dear dog with genuine care. And came across as the most sincere vet I have ever met. I ended up having to put my best friend down, and she was very caring through the process. I received a card in the mail a week later, which I thought would be a generic card from the clinic, and instead was comforted to see a handwritten personal story from Dr.K about my sweet Lupe, and nothing but kind words towards me as an owner. If I get another dog, it would be a relief as a doggy mom to have a vet like her in our lives.

Dr. K is the perfect vet. She truly cares about the animals and talks to them too. I have several pets and she looks after them well. When there is an issue, she tells you the choices and helps you decide. She also advises the costs of services if they are pricey rather than just assuming you can afford everything.

Doctor K was just amazing I unfortunately found her a little later in my dogs life but the time spent with her and her staff was top notch. I can not tell you how much then care. Truly one of a kind. So much so, I will be bring my new baby boxer boy to them, no one else i would trust his care too.

Doctors and staff are compassionate and caring. They may not be the top vets regarding rabbits, but Dr. K has always been good with mine. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Not a bad place, but not stellar either. The staff are actually pretty good, and the facilities are quite clean and nice, but I was not overly impressed with the veterinary care (the vet I saw did not seem to ADORE animals, which would be an absolute requirement for me to rate a vet highly). The nickel and diming (paying to collect a sample) was a bit much, although I guess this is fairly par for the course these days.

I found the ladies at this hospital to be outstanding! The doctors are fabulous, and have taken great care of my animals over the years that I've been going there. The hospital is amazingly built and always smells clean. I recommend bringing your animals there as they will be given lots of love (and cookies).
