We have been taking our four footed ones to Dr Cichon and Kathy since 2008 (10 years) and highly recommend them to anyone seeking knowledgeable, and respectful care for their pets. Not only do they keep up with the latest in techniques, they also incorporate holistic medicine into their treatment plans. This was particularly valuable when our rescue came to us self-mutilating. With their assistance and compassion, she is now a healthy happy girl. Dr Cichon cares deeply for the animals his clients entrust in his care which is as it should be. Thank you, Dr. Cichon and Kathy!

Originally went to Cichon because of favours our family has done for his and because he has a holistic approach. After several visits with bills in the hundreds for basic things a young puppy requires, I decided to get the courage to ask about a family discount. I was met with a rude receptionist who relayed his message of a firm no. After all we have done for him, I was pretty disappointed to hear that someone could be so selfish. Especially since I found a vet nearby that charges half the price! Keep in mind these are not even for special circumstances; just regular vaccines, spay/neuter and such. Had high hopes for this place but I'm sad to say that greed runs it. Do your research first. Langley and Port Moody have some excellent vets with reasonable prices.

The staff are always friendly and kind. The Dr is genuinely caring and honest about my dogs health options. I would recommend this vet to anyone with pets young or old.

Dr. Cichon and his staff (Kathy) are a wealth of knowledge in the areas of conventional and hollistic vetrinary medicine. More importantly, Dr. Cichon works with his clients for the best solutions while providing excellent customers service - often working around the schedules of clients. I find his work ethic outstanding and he works at resolving the root cause (not making symptoms with drugs). Many ailments are caused by nutrition, and vets do not have the knowledge - often prescribing prescription foods and poor quality kibble. In addition, antibiotics are used to mask symptoms while compounding effects. Dr. Cichon is truely a specialist in the area of hollistic medicine and nutrition with many years of experience. Our dog is much healthier on a better diet and was able to be taken off all prescription medicines prescribed by a conventional vet. Overall, Dr. Cichon has helped us to reduce our vet visits over the past 2 years. Cannot say enough positive comments about him.

We took our very sick 1 year old dog to see Dr Cichon a year ago... he had ongoing diarrhea and vomiting. Our regular vet told us he needed antibiotics as he had a bacterial infection.. this went on for months.. he'd get a bit better but as soon as he was off the antibotics he would be so sick again.. finally we sough the help of a more holistic approach.. he immediately got him on aloe, pumpkin, enzymes etc... within DAYS he was on the way to recovery.. he was off all antibiotics and was starting to gain a bit of weight... once we got past the seriousness of this Dr Cichon suggested we try a home cooked or raw diet.. we opted for a raw diet and have never looked back.. because of Dr Cichon we have a healthy happy dog.. a perfect weight, no issues with diarrhea or vomiting.. without his help we are sure we would have lost our fur baby.. I highly recommend Dr C... he is a very intuitive and compassionate man.. you will NOT regret it!

Have used numerous local vets for almost 40 years and have found Dr. Cichon to be the best. He thinks nothing of spending as much time as needed to explain things, helps out not only with medical but training issues, and is a wonderful, caring person. Kathy clearly loves animals and our dog always responds well to her.

Highly recommend Dr Cichon and his staff and am very comfortable doing. It is evident that he cares for his patients and when dealing with the health issues of our two dogs and cat I have found him to be knowledgeable, and realistic to their needs. He is comfortable utilizing both mainstream and holistic treatment methods to get the desired results and ALWAYS clear as to what is in the best interest of our pets.

Dr. Cichon is a WONDERFUL vet! He is very caring and knowledgeable and always takes the least invasive approach to treatment first. I have learned a great deal about raising my doggie from him. My only regret is that his Coquitlam clinic is no longer open on Saturdays (he owns 2 clinics...1 in Coquitlam & 1 in North Van)...which means I would have to take time off work to take my dog in to see him. Sadly, this has forced me to seek out a new holistic vet in my area. However, if weekdays are convenient for you, Dr. Cichon is a very good choice for your veterinary care. PLEASE NOTE: I give a lower rating for "Facilities" only because of being closed on weekends (inconvenient). His clinic is very clean and friendly.

Dr Cichon is literally one of the best vets ever. He, his staff, and his facility is very professional. I will admit that he is VERY pricey..which I wish was a bit less..and I will be honest. I did try going somewhere else to save money that my boyfriends family goes to...Wow what a huge mistake. The Tri-City Animal Clinic is horrible. I ended up going back to Dr. Cichon the same day for a second opinion on something. He is extremely caring, very knowledgable, and is just THE BEST.

This clinic surpasses BY FAR any other veterinary service that we have ever seen. At different times over the past few years our little dog had not only been over-vaccinated by other clinics, but had been "written off" by others who felt that the problems that she had (in particular, kidney and cancer-related issues) were unresolvable. Dr. Cichon's wide knowledge base, not only as as a highly skilled surgeon, but also as a truly holistic practitioner who provides sound advice on nutrition as well as on comprehensive approaches to healing, has enabled those problems to be completely resolved. Our little dog is now happy, very healthy, and very full of life.

I'm an experianced pet and animal lover. Have used different vets over the years and I can tell you that nobody comes close to these people. I have 2 cocker spaniels, one requires regular care for genetic issues. This clinic is spotless, staff is friendly and very considerate. I would highly recommend them if you want a vet who is detailed and reasonable in approach. I'm also glad that he practices a balanced holistic approach to health care.

Dr Chicon is very nice, and a very competent vet, I think. He spends time to discuss issues at length. This is great while you're talking to him, but the same virtue can mean lengthy waits past the scheduled appointment. He is holistically oriented, and comfortable with raw feeding, even carries some raw foods for sale. The staff are also very nice, but there is some turnover and sometimes I'm uncomfortable with their unfamiliarity with their products and prices. One should carefully check each invoice before you leave. I'm certain the mistakes are not deliberate, but they do happen.

said they took an expensive blood test ($700) and never produced the results, despite my repeated requests ($$$). they told me to buy their food products and do more tests. i went to another doctor who knew the problem right away, and gave a simple cure that worked.

I have used these people for my two cocker spaniels many times. Dr. Chichon is by far the best vet I have ever used. They are all extremley good with the animals, give expert care, and explain any health problems in a way that you can understand. Nobody comes close to them as far as personal care.

Holistic care. Great with bulldogs. Up to date on the latest knowledge. Willing to take the time to explain different methods and alternatives. Great vets and receptionists. Do not feel like they are money hungry. The people there truly care for the animals.
