Click to report rating    12/6/19   3     2     4     2   Just an ok animal hospital, I’m not impressed. My friend recommended it, so I decided to give it a try. Serves me right - should have struck with my vet I’ve been going to for years and never had any problems with. My dog received the treatment she needed, I paid a premium price. Nothing to be wowed about. They cut my dog’s nails without asking me and then charged for it. Whatever, it was $15 and it was time, but I trim her nails myself. Then they added a can of vet food into my bill. I refused to buy it because my dog doesn’t eat that crap. We won’t be coming back to this hospital. Also they didn’t close for renovations. There were two painters working with drywall dust flying everywhere when we were there. RID: 68790
Click to report rating    6/22/19   2     4     3     1   I took my dog in because he was vomiting and shaking . He was very distressed . Dr was so hard to understand . She said he wasn't dehydrated but wanted to give a physical exam , do a sample collection . She did this then asked me to wait while she gave him an injection . For what I did not understand as she did not explain what she was doing . She gave some medicine for the next few days and said she would call the next day with blood test results . The test showed nothing was wrong . My bill was over $300 and would have been $620 if I had let her do X-rays . Felt like the whole visit was one big money grab ......would never use this vet again RID: 68156
Click to report rating    11/8/18   5     5     5     5   Dr. Bath is an amazing vet. He repaired my dog's broken leg with great expertise and care. I would highly recommend him and his friendly staff at the clinic. RID: 67002
Click to report rating    7/25/17   1     1     1     1   Worst vet ever. To not take your animals here. Dr bath doesn't care about the animals. We brought our health dog in with a cut on his paw. He wanted to do X-rays and all this stuff to get more money. Be proscribed a drug that killed our little dog. Dr bath now says he had all these issues. Dr bath killed our dog and will not even say sorry but get out. Again if you value your pets life do not go here. RID: 64266
Click to report rating    4/11/17   1     1     1     1   We took our kitten that we adopted from cares to get her last shots and a check up. He did a very fast job and did not take his time and missed an intussusception. We found out about it a week later when we had to rush our kitten to a good animal hospital where she was euthanized. As we were told she would probably not survive the surgery. RID: 63317

5/12/16   2     3     3     3   I have had my cat shaved with sedation 3 times prior to having him shaved at Dr. Bath's clinic. The 3 times prior I have never had any issue post shave and sedation. My cat has always recovered without issue. HOWEVER, after bringing my cat to Willowbrook for a shave with sedation my cat is not doing well. When I got to the vet he was screaming, hissing and trying to get out of his cage. Granted he has never liked being caged but I have never seen him this distressed. When I brought him home he was restless,he will not allow me or my partner near him, he threw-up 3 times and has not eat or drank in over 36 hours. Today post sedation day 2 he will not come out from under the bed or eat. I called Dr. Bath office they could not offer me any support. They said Dr.Bath would contact me when he returned and I still have not herd. I don't know if my cat was over sedated or has experienced trauma but I would recommend to USE CAUTION with this vet.  1/11/15   5     5     5     5   Like all dog owners, I panicked when my dog was attacked by another dog at the dog park on a Friday evening. At 9pm I was headed to the emergency clinic when I passed this place. I walked in with no appointment and was seen immediately with NO emergency fee. AND I was able to take my dog home less than 3 hours later and did not have to leave him overnight. I am so incredibly grateful for the prompt, quality service (at half of what the emergency clinic would have charged me) and I will continue to bring my dog here and recommend them to friends & family. Thanks Dr. Bath! RID: 55408

9/14/14   5     5     5     5   I took my Jack Russell to this vet Friday for an emergency. The Dr we saw, Dr Lohat and his receptionist. They were WONDERFUL. They were able to do the small surgery our dog needed. The dr. explained what had happened how he was going to make her better, he gave me a detailed quote before he started. When we returned a few hours later the dr. explained what we should do at home for the next few days. he had all the meds ready to do. I was really impressed with the fact that Dr. Lohat didn't try and give our dog a whole bunch of tests and scam me out of a bunch more money. he knew the problem fixed it and was super kind. I would actually consider driving from Maple ridge to see these guys again. My dog is doing very well now, 2 days later. Thank you guys for being open late... RID: 53542

12/31/13   3     3     1     1   We caught Dr. Bath lying to us three times in one appointment. When asked about it he mumbled something to himself and ignored us. The vet does not listen and is impatient and rude. Be on your toes. RID: 49010
Click to report rating    7/16/13   5     4     4     5   Dr. Bath is fantastic! After an awful pit-bull attack our 9 week old puppy survived end even started to walk again! He really performed a miracle by literally putting the dog back together from what it was left at her bottom part... God bless him! RID: 45621
4/5/13   5     5     5     5   We took our 5 year old Weimaraner there with what I thought was a skin tag and a lump that had doubled in size over night. They got me in right away and it turned out to be a tick. Dr bath was very calm and had great bed side manner with our dog stopping every few minutes to pet her and tell her everything is ok. Prices were very reasonable for the exam and 4 much needed injections. And FYI after working at a different vet (who turned out to be a money hungry scammer) $18 is NOT too much for an injection!! RID: 41563
Click to report rating    3/7/13   2     1     1     1   Went in for an ear infection. Dr looked at her hears and said he is taking her to the back to put drops in. Flag went up right away. I could hear my dog in pain and wondered why she would be in pain from just drops. He came out and said he gave her an injection, of what I don't know. Didn't tell me before hand that he would be injecting my dog with something or ask permission to do that either. Then I got the bill and not only was I charged for the drops that he put in but I was charged for the bottle that he used then gave to me so I was charged twice for him using my bottle of drops. His prices are over the top for injections and everything else. Just a regular exam...which he only looked in her ears, was $35 and I have seen other places for only $20 and the staff isn't half asleep or rude when they answer the phone like it is here. Not Happy At All! Never going back! RID: 40903
Click to report rating    1/15/13   1     1     1     1   The "dr" in this clinic is very rude, uncompassionate and full of bs!! when our dog was hurt the doctor said a surgery was needed immediately and would not let us pay in parts instead wanted it all then charged us for some shots and the time he had apparently spent on our dog! he charged us 3,000$ and was very rough and cruel with our dog not caring that he was crying or that we were upset RID: 39626
Click to report rating    11/3/12   5     5     5     5   As new clients recieved great service at great rates. Have reccommended them now to numerous people,a nd have yet to get a complaint! RID: 38256
Click to report rating    10/25/12   2     3     3     2   We took our cat for "basic shots". that is what I asked for at the front and when we went in the exam room. Surprise, when it came time for the bill, they were going to charge me extra for the "exam" which apparently is mandatory along with the shots. Not going back. RID: 38082
Click to report rating    9/11/12   1     2     2     1   DO NOT GET XRAY's AT THIS PLACE!! I got charged $80 for a xray, that apparently confirmed that nothing was wrong,2 weeks later I go to pick up the xrays to take to another vet and dr.bath say's that the xrays will be useless because they are blurry and you can't see anything properly...yet he confirmed that by the xray he was fine...so I had to pay for another xray, not happy. RID: 37144

Click to report rating    7/11/12   1     1     1     1   Dr. Bath kept performing unnecessary surgeries on my dog. After spending over $3000, I finally got a second opinion. My new doctor at Albatross Vet clinic cured her with a simple $20 bottle of medication. I did not need to spend all that money. I am not sure if Dr. Bath is just uneducated, or if he was putting my dog through surgery to make money. RID: 35580
Click to report rating    4/25/12   1     1     1     1   We brought our dog in because she was extremely sick and not eating a couple days after having puppies. She was examined and given a shot to help produce milk to feed the puppies. Her puppies passed away because she couldnt feed them and we brought her back because she continued to get worse. She had a really bad uterus infection(pyrometra) that was misdiagnosed. Our dog was kept overnight and put on antibiotics that couldnt have possibly helped at that point. The next day right after visiting her we were told she passed away. We were told that Dr Bath had worked on her for half an hour to revive her even though we had been there 30 minutes before and he had not been to work yet. After that we were fed more BS and had to pay $70 to cremate a 4 pound dog that shouldn't have died. We were told that the we got a really good deal because Dr Bath hadnt charged us for some of the shots he apparently gave her while he couldnt have been there. RID: 33749
Click to report rating    1/10/12   1     2     3     1   I have been to this vet 2 x, and both times were awful experiences. The first time they pinned my kitten down as she howled in pain to give her her shot, which she had a violent reaction to and then needed an antihistamine. Then, I brought my puppy in who escaped her pen and found chocolate we didn't know was there. The vet did not even move from his corner to examine her, and I did not get a good vibe from him. The vet tech the next morning proceded to tell me I need to train my dog. She is a rescue that came to us with behaviour problems. We have done group classes and continue to have private lessons with 3 behaviourists (one that comes from nanaimo). Today, I brought my dog to our regular vet due to fever and severe pain. She has a reaction to a shot she got at Willowbrook, and had a fever of 105. My vet was worried she'd be ok, scary. He believes it is due to either a dirty needle or crossing medicines that shouldn't be injected together. We will not return or recommend this vet. RID: 30437
Click to report rating    6/3/11   5     5     5     5   He and the staff are the BEST Love Willowbrook Animal Hospital..> thanks a lot. RID: 25399
Click to report rating    5/10/11   1     2     1     1   I brought my in, he was dizzy and couldnt stand up, he accused me of giving it or letting it have marijuana, IMPOSSIBLE, it hadnt even been out of my sight, id gotten him a day earlier. I told him it was impossible he still went ahead and kept him, pumped his stomach put him on iv to clear him out and did blood work for toxins, when i called to see how he was i was lectured by staff about keeping things away from my dog (pot) the test came back, NO POT! daaa like I said It was impossible. Got my dog back it happened again and I had to diagnose my pooch with a stunt, he then with my knowledge tested him and thats what it was, 600$ later They didnt send in my application for insurance and wasnt re-embursed what I was entitled to. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET, seriously. RID: 24905
Click to report rating    2/17/11   2     2     1     1   this is the rudest vet I have ever been to, he charged for things that were not needed and did not do tests that would find the problem, he just said it has an infection, and it tuns out the dog has a liver problem that is going to need major surgery and life long care, this vet needs to go back to school and learn hjow to properly diagnoise problems.dont waste your money or risk you pets life with this vet RID: 22958
Click to report rating    1/27/11   2     2     1     1   We had a very bad experience with this Veterinatrian. The worst I've ever had. I have always had dogs and cats. My daughter took her cat to this vet late at night he was open until 12am worried he might not make it.He was lithargic, could not stand or move well He was kept overnight. We paid for bloodwork tests, left and came back the next day. we were there for almost two hours, found out his IV had run out during the night, it was not refilled. He was put on the floor and ran to hide behind the dogfood. The receptionist pulled him out and he pee'd blood at least a cup, which they said was caused by crystals. We left him there, re thought about it. My daughter came with a friend and before they left he gave him a shot of antibiotics. He administered it in his hind back area and the needle went right through his body and out the other side. This is not an exageration.. Two people witnessed this. We couldn't get him out fast enough. Getting test results for FIV/Imm/another story. RID: 22429
Click to report rating    12/10/10   5     5     5     5   I have nothing but great things to say. He has helped my pets so much! i recommend him to anyone i talk to! Alot of vets will scam you for your money, but i have never felt that at all with Dr. Bath RID: 21353
Click to report rating    9/13/10   1     2     2     2   I had a horrible experience with this vet and it resulted in my puppy dying. I got her from a rescue organization in Langley and she ended up sick the first day I got her. We brought her to see Dr. Bath and he gave her some medications and said that she may have some sort of respiratory infection. she didnt get better and we brought her back and he said she just needed more medications, even though she had lost her appetite. Her symtoms persisted so I brought her to another vet who did chest x-rays and found out that she had severe pnemonia. she had to be put in an oxygen chamber for almost a week and it didnt get better. Finally, she had to be put dowm. Very bad experience with this vet. Clearly he didn`t know what he was doing and did not do the approapriate tests. When we needed the dogs file to be transferred the other vet, they couldn`t even find the file. DO NOT GO HERE! RID: 19705
Click to report rating    8/28/10   5     5     5     4   Dr. Bath is a phenomenal vet!!! I don't know where the negative experiences are coming in because I've heard nothing but great stuff about him & the staff at WAH! RID: 19450
Click to report rating    8/10/10   1     4     1     2   Took my puppy to get spayed, then got charged $75 more than quoted price. Could live with that though. But when my puppy then gets bad gastro sickness 5 days later I had to take her back. Took assistant 15 min to even find my file? Then the vet didn't even examine her, barely touched her, just gave her 2 injections, oral meds, and meds for home and to bring back if no improvement? Staff their seems inexperienced and bad customer service. Then when she got worst next day took them 2 hrs to call me back! Very upset, went to another vet and was soo happy and thankful, they were kind and knowledgable and gave my puppy great care. RID: 19163
Click to report rating    4/16/10   1     1     1     1   i work for the spca as a vet tech. Dr. bath wasnt found on the vet association registry and we couldnt find his credentials. Very fishy RID: 17540
Click to report rating    7/30/09   5     5     5     5   I love love love this vet. So much in fact, that he's now a director on my board. I run a dog rescue agency called, "Cold Noses, Warm Beds". He's the absolute best. We've rehomed over 200 dogs in 5 months and I trust him with EACH and every one of them. Keep up the great work guys. Beady singer - Founder RID: 13658
Click to report rating    5/16/09   5     5     5     5   I visited a few vets to see who I wanted to use for my cats. When I walked into Willowbrook, a beautiful lynx-point Siamese jumped up on the counter and head-bonked me, purring loudly. I trusted that cat - and my kitten had a great experience at the vet. I consider Willowbrook my vet for my cats now. RID: 12822
Click to report rating    5/11/09   1     4     1     2   We took our cat in to Dr. Bath to treat a mild case of kennel cough. He gave us the same medication for about 6 weeks (about 5 times in all) even though it was seemingly making the cat worse. After 6 weeks and a our cat becomming very sick we took him to a different vet who was shocked and disgusted to find that the medication Dr. Bath had been giving us was actually outdated and very rarely used in Canada. It is also known to cause respiratory problems and even DEATH. The new vet simply took our cat off the medication and the cat was completely fine 5 days later. I never took my cat back to him and thank god he never laid a hand on my puppy. For over a month he ignored numerous phone calls to fax records over to our new vet. I finally had to go to the office and get them myself and even then they couldn't produce all of the dozen or so visit receipts he had charged us in less than 3 months. This guy should have his license revoked! RID: 12752

Click to report rating    2/21/09   5     5     5     5   Dr. Bath & his staff are the best!! We recommend them to anyone we talk to about pets. He is very caring, personable, gentle and soothing with the animals and their owners. Very up-to-date on procedures, etc. and is very reasonable prices. The hours are great (open until midnight every day). We highly recommend Dr. Bath at Willowbrook Animal Hospital. RID: 11741
Click to report rating    1/11/09   5     5     5     5   I have just recently started to use this vet when I had an emergency on a Sunday. I refuse to go to the Emergency Clinic in Langley,as I've had bad experiences with them. This clinic is right by the Emerg. Clinic. I have found Dr. Bath to be very conscientious, and will try his best to help your pet. His prices are very reasonable and the hours are wonderful. He's open 7 days a week, until midnight. His clinic is bright and clean, and his equipment is all new,and up to date. RID: 11159
