I went here after going to Folsom Vet Clinic & they were so expensive I started searching for a vet I could afford. Dr. here is kind and knowledgeable and seemed genuinely concerned with the wellbeing of my dogs. Facility is small and simple but service was great, my two dogs loved it and it was a very pleasant experience, including my bill. I will continue to go here, although it's almost 10 miles from my home, I like to have a vet I can take my animals to and not worry that I won't have enough money to pay. The vet I went to for 35 years (I quit going to this vet because I moved out of the area), told me that when I was looking for a new vet to "look for a vet without a big ad in the telephone directory. This way maybe they won't charge so much. Anyway, Akaal is my vet now, and the doctors and staff there are great, everyone is pleasant and happy and seem to love what they're doing, plus they like my animals.

We have been taking our two dogs and a cat here for almost 4 years. They were fairly new when we took our Smokey for the first time (cat fight). The staff was very friendly and prices were much lower than our other vet. After that we been taking all of our animals here and never had any problem. The service has been exactly the same every time.

Waited almost an hour and a half to be seen, even with an appointment! The room smelled like old urine and I was told information that I had never heard about kennel cough, having worked for the SPCA for years!
They also had to keep my dog for three hours because they were too busy to do a couple xrays!
I WILL NOT be going back!!!

I could never say enough good things about Akaal, Dr. Bhullar, or his staff. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. It's like going to visit family when I take any of my 4 dogs and two cats. I could share a million stories, but the most impressive was recently when two of my three 8 month old pups came down with kennel cough after having been vaccinated for it. Dr took excellent care of them but felt bad that they got sick after having been vaccinated. So, unbeknownst to me, he called Pfizer (the maker of the vaccine) regularly for over a month until they refunded all of my vet expenses. One day he called me and said, "I have a check here for $X. You can pick it up whenever." It didn't affect him either way for me to get or not get a refund, but it helped me a tremendously to get that money back. I love these people and look forward to a very long relationship.

My dog was neutered, and everything was so professional, clean and pleasant. Also, the best price I could find, so great value.

This clinic is THE best place for you pets. The staff is very friendly and you'll always see everyone happy there. The vet is very experienced and always have time to answer your questions (I always have quite a few :) -Sherie Kansa
