I love everyone here and so does my anxiety-ridden dog. They go beyond what you'd expect. I've kennelled him here several times. One year I had to leave him at Christmas and one of their wonderful staff-members took him home with her, with my permission of course. They are just the best!

There should be an "excellent" category! I highly recommend this clinic and the vet Dr. Melissa Ochotsky. You won't meet a more caring, compassionate and competent group of people who will care for your animal. The facilities are also first rate. Dr. Melissa treated my Brandy for 14 years. Brandy loved going to visit her. Brandy also loved her favourite gal Mae who always made a fuss over her. Sadly, I lost my Brandy 2 years ago.

We've dealt with vet clinics in the Coq. area for the last 30 years. It is our experience that Westwood Hts.is always our first choice!Thay are knowledgeable, practical,honest,compassionate and very reasonable. You can always depend on them to do the very best for your animal. Never have they over-prescribed or suggested elaborate treatments that just drain your pocket book. And, when it comes to going the extra mile to save your pets life they will, 110%!

I came here to have my pet looked at for a simple procedure, i found the Vet (Dr. melissa) very kind and competent. As for the staff that's another story... I find that the swearing, arguments, rude comments they make to each other is unprofessional. I don't trust these people to look after my pet.

Have used Dr. Melissa for years and she is the best, recently met Dr. Mary and was really impressed with her knowledge and honesty, not afraid to research what she is unsure of and is very practical and realistic. a great addition to a great clinic. Prices are VERY reasonable and neither doctor tries to sell you what you don't need. Often behind schedule but they never rush you out the door. Support staff is a bit quirky but they clearly love animals and always spoil my fur kids rotten.

I have been taking my 2 cats here for years. One is 14 now and the other is 12. Dr Melissa has looked after my cats since they were kittens. She has always been very thorough and honest about what they have needed. She cares about the well being of my pets and has always gone the extra mile to help me out. I would never take my pets anywhere else. They have helped so many different animals and truly care.

We can not forgive ourselves for taking out cat to this clinic. They use very strong antibiotics without warning what side effects they can cause and do not even make necessary tests to prove that such medication is needed. as the result our cat got her kidneys and digestive system ruined and died. Some of the staff members are extremely unprofessional and ruthless, they were refusing even to give our cat medication that was prescribed by the vet to relieve spasms and vomiting. We also had situation when our cat was subjected to a painful invasive procedure that was not authorized by us and when we asked why the cat is screaming at the examination room the staff did not tell us. We will never forgive ourselves for trusting out cat's health to these people.

I've been coming to see Dr. Melissa for many years with my pets and most times have been all great experiences. The only thing I can comment about is the staff change, i've found since Melissa's long time employee Mai has left the practice hasn't been the same. The staff there know our young and seem ok but I feel they lack the expertise that Mai had.. I wish Mai would come back...

This is the third vet clinic we've taken our cat to and it's by far the best. No need to try anywhere else. Melissa spent a long time discussing cat care with us as we are first-time pet owners. She put our cat totally at ease and obviously cares for her patients. We didn't feel rushed at all and felt totally at ease asking lots of questions. We would definitely recommend this clinic!!

My evil twins puppies Bobo and Lolo been here since born! Love all the staffs and Vet! Best part is the dog actually like to come to the clinic! My previous dog is alway scare to go to the Vet( I was using a different clinic:( big mistake!?). Now I have no problem bring the dog to the Vet:))

Great Veterinary clinic to take your pets to. I have been taking my two dogs lucky and Luna to Westwood height and they have always been taken care of. No unnessessary test or medication is prescribed unless your pet necessarily need it and if Dr. Ochatsky refers you to a specialist don't even doubt it, if there was any other way she would have done it. Unlucky me that one of my dogs Lunca came up with two very complicated diseases and as per Dr. Ochatsky I had to take her to Canada West Veterinary Specialist hospital. She recovered the frist disease but she is still dealing with the second one with a very low chance of surrvival due to complexity and rareness of the disease.

I have been bringing my dogs to this location for years. Although we are in Vancouver I still make the drive out to see Dr. Otchosky. Great Staff - but the mark up on certain vet meds was surprising given other vets Ive used in Vancouver. Otherwise a Great place for dogs.

I have been bringing my dogs here for about a year, I love the staff with the exception of one receptionist named may. She is full of attitude and I have had her lie to my face in the past. Melissa is fantastic and trust worthy with any and every pet that comes in. I have developed a personal relationship with most of the staff and enjoy that they are light hearted and caring but are serious when they have to be.

What a wonderful, caring and enthusiastic team. Melissa has been caring for our cats for over fifteen years, through all kinds of troubles [including calmly and sympathetically putting one to sleep]. We always feel that they do the very best with the considerable resources at hand for us and for our cats. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Dr. Ochotsky is one of the nicest vet I know, when she is not around her replacements too are very good as well. The staff are very helpful, when you call ask to speak to May she is the sweetest person there and she knows what she's talking about, you'll feel secure knowing your pets are in good hands.

Melissa Ochotsky and her staff are exceptional. They are without very caring, and well-informed. I have recommended the clinic to many people, and all have been as pleased as I am. They also do not try to sell you prescription food, etc. if your pet doesn't need it. Most humans would be THRILLED to get this quality of care for themselves, let alone their pets.

Excellent vet and staff. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I've been bringing my dog and 2 cats to this vet for years. Even moved away from Coquitlam but I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets. I was recommended to this vet through a co-worker that had nothing but great things to stay about WHPH.

I always get the best care possible and know my pets are safe and well cared for. The Vet is extremely knowledgeable and always takes as much time needed to take care of my pets...not always easy to get an appointment on short notice but that just goes to show that good vets have lots of clients and little spare time...but the staff is always helpful and knowledgeable in recomending another reputable clinic or tips on what to do until I could get an appointment...I would reccomend it to everyone !

Absolutely amazing. The vet did a fantastic job neutering my rat. She covered all of my questions and concerns before I even got a chance to ask. Provided excellent after care. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
