I totally agree with the previous person who posted. Just returned from a 2 + hr wait and were completely ignored! Our puppy had complications from surgery and was told to come in right away. We sat and waited and waited and .... Others were taken before us for 'nail trims' , 'expelling anal glands' that did not have appointments. This place is a joke and I am dumbfounded as to why people come to this place. I wouldn't bring my pet salamander here! Unprofessional, condescending and totally worthless excuse for a Veterinarian. Don't waste your time or money!

Apparently people who somehow know intimate details about her write over-the-top reviews on the internet as you can see from the other one here. That should be your first sign. This lady was arrogant, condescending, the money grubbing was just unbelievable. Staff ignored me from the moment I walked in but was friendly with everyone else it seemed. Smell was aweful. My dog wouldn't get in the car for 3 months after her visit there. At first I laughed at what they started to do in the exam room, then I was really angry. I stopped it and left. Just an aweful, aweful experience. Their closer to home but I'll be going back to my old vet further away. I never realized how good they were until I went to harrison animal hospital.

Somply the best! A great vet and a remarkable and caring human being. Prices are extremely reasonable and the office is always immaculate. Dr. Kirst gives so much of herself. She is involved with several rescue groups and has treated some animals for free. The mailman on her route saw a dog get hit and not knowing what to do, carried it to her office. She did not hesitate. Knowing she would not be paid, she did surgery on the dog, nursed him back to health and wound up keeping it. Her new cat appears to be missing an ear. She has a heart of gold and apparently a weakness for animals in need. She is extremely smart and quick. She does not hesitate or beat around the bush. I have seen several vets over the years but none have compared to her. Her rates are so reasonable that is almost unbelievable. I cannot say enough good things about her and feel that if you take your pets there, you will wind up returning. She is just an amazing woman!
