Monetary value: A 10! I'd heard he'd be "expensive" -- not at all. You get your money's worth, and you save loads more in getting a level-headed diagnosis--no wild goose chase, racking up the $$$$, which plenty of "cheaper" vets have cost me. Sweet man, very knowledgable, kind to the horses--even the difficult ones!

The best!!! Busy practice, but comes through in an emergency. Responsive and explains things well. Hand floats teeth. Kind and gentle.

Dr. Wheat is responsive, thorough and very knowledgeable. He worked with us as we dealt with a very ill horse. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. His staff is great, too. I will continue to use him.

Common sense, on the go equine vet. Really cares about your horses. If only he was not so busy, so he could come on time! Great to call for a colic, he will drop everything in an emergency.
