I have utilized the services of Wellness Home Vet twice for my senior cat, with having the pleasure of meeting both Dr. Marcia and Dr. Nicole. I work in the animal health sector, and I can honestly say that the compassion, empathy and care that these two professionals show towards their patient and the family is incredible. After having Dr. Nicole come perform a health exam on my senior cat, six months later it was time to make that difficult call. Dr. Marcia facilitated the appointment, even moving her schedule around to accommodate ours so the goodbye to our dear cat was as stress free as possible. She arrived on time, called beforehand, sat down with our family to answer any and all questions we had before the service began. She treated my cat as if she were her own, and allowed us to say goodbye to our beloved companion in the comfort of our home, something that brought us solace in knowing our cat felt safe and comfortable in an environment she knows. I cannot thank them enough.

What started out as a great experience with wellness vet turned out to be not so pleasant... We were left with no choice but to put our 14 year old cocker down. It was heart wrenching and the most difficult thing I ever had to do. The in home euthanasia process was so much better for our family and our dog as we were able to shed tears and not feel rushed and it was just a better choice than taking her to a clinic. The part that was terrible was trying to arrange pick up of our pet after cremation. We got the runaround from Marcia and was lied to that our pets ashes werent delivered when they were. She admitted to her lie and still tried to backtrack but it was something that a grieving pet owner should never have to deal with when they just lost their precious pet. I will deal directly with the cremation company when arranging pickup, and never get the runaround or lies from Marcia again.
