They forced vaccines on my animal and charged me for a full examination when Infact just looked at my cat in distress. This place cares about money and nothing else. I will never take my animals or recommend this place

Very professional, compassionate, educational and thorough. I have parrots and it’s difficult to find good care. After many years of putting my trust in this clinic I can rest knowing my pets will have the utmost care, which can be a stressful time for both pets and their owners. They’ve taken care of me too. Recommend them in a heartbeat.

Dr Dennet saved my cat on several occasions. Yes its expensive but owning an animal is expensive you have to account for that when you adopt one. They have always been very good to me there and truly care about my animals. Which is awesome since I may be a slightly crazy cat mom. Thanks so much for all you did for Leonard and for my current cats Penny and Spencer :)

The individual who reviewed the following is pasting the same review all over the net. Clearly a fake review. Don't trust it. " Dr. Sherri Dennett is an outstanding veterinarian. I say this from many years of experiencing her services with multiple dogs and cats. She is, of course, knowledgeable. Nevertheless, she readily consults others in her field if she believes that would benefit the outcome. But, she does so much more. First of all, she listens. Then she takes ample time to explain the pros and cons of all options. She is gentle and compassionate with the animal; considerate and patient with the owner. I recommend her services most highly and without reservation."

Stay away! Worst vet experience in 60 years - animals have no value to them, except monetary. Had two separate friends go there once - and never again. Such a relief to go to another vet and know he was being well looked after.

We have had several pets treated at this clinic and while I do not disagree the cost can be high sometimes, the old saying applies: You get what you pay for. At the Riverside South Animal Hospital you get a team that works with you for the best care of your pet, and that does not judge you for your decisions. I have dealt with other animal hospitals where the vets judged you for not following the treatment they "dictated" your pet must receive, regardless of financial considerations, and it was not the case at this hospital.

We were regular patrons of this clininc for a couple of years. We were quoted (low and high end) for surgical procedures to be carried out on the same day. We budgeted for the high end quote. The Vet ended the surgery early (stating they only allow animals to be under for 2 hours and 1/2 max) and said our dog would have return for the rest of surgery at another time. When we picked up our animal, we were still charged the high end of the quote regardless. We were subsequently quoted another several hundred dollars to finish the work. Sadly since this had financially drained all of our savings, we could not afford to return for the second surgery and also decided against it since it's would not be fair to put a senior dog through another general anesthesia and surgery. Please do your homework and get quotes from more than one provider before making your decision. Also make the the vet you choose will not go back on the quoted price you are given before agreeing to anything.

My husband and I brought out dog in for a first time visit checkup. Our apt was scheduled for 6:30pm. They put us in one of the rooms and we sat there for 1hr and never saw Dr. Dennett who was on the doctor on duty. The staff told us they had a bunch of emergencies that took priority over my scheduled apt and that they were a Veterinarian Hospital and always have emergencies. We ended up just leaving without even seeing the doctor. If they have so many emergencies perhaps they should have two doctors working. One to deal with the emergencies and the other to deal with their scheduled apts! I will NEVER go back to this clinic again.

Stay away. Especially if dealing with Dr. Dennett. Without even examining the area in question, she said that two costly procedures were required. Got a second opinion. Neither of the procedures were necessary! In fact, they would have been harmful to my pet. If I knew where to report this incident, I would. I was lied to and my pet's quality of life would have been severely diminished...all for the mighty dollar.

Dr. Dennet is fabulous. Her love for pets is obvious, is very cost conscious, and practical. Dr. Dennett also has a mobile clinic and will come to your home for check ups. And she will come to your home when the time comes for you to put your pet to sleep which is so much less frightening for your pet.

We have been dealing with the RSAH for the last 10 years. We have had several pets treated by the friendly staff, and I have always felt that they work for the best interests of pet and owner.

I stopped in after work to ask about my daughter's guinea pig.We were afraid to cut one nail on the front paw because there was something on it; an abcess or an ingrown nail.I talked to a woman at the front desk and was told that there woud be a $73 consult charge if we saw the doctor but one of the assistants could cut the nail for her if my daughter was too afraid. We could bring her pig right in. A different woman was at the desk when we came in and I explained what I had been told. She asked if we wanted all of the nails cut and I said no, just the one. She came back a few minutes later and told us that it was food or poop that was stuck in the nail. We took our pet and thanked her profusely for helping us and started to leave. She then told us that it was $24 and change for the 1 nail to be cut. What I thought was a kind gesture was still a money grab, just not $73 worth. This is why we left this vet. practice in the first place, it was always more money.
