Took my dog in for an eye problem. The staff are wonderful, treated my little girl like she was extra-special to them. Dr. Hertling was very thorough and very kind, gentle and sweet to my dog. The extent of his knowledge meant my girl got exactly the medical treatment she needed. Dr. Hertling will be her regular vet from now on. The facilities could do with a facelift, but this has nothing to do with the quality of care my dog received, which was top-notch.

I had recently taken my pet to West Edmonton Veterinary for an assessment on his ongoing condition. Dr. R. Hertling is very thorough in his studies, and his staff were exceptional. However, I did feel as if there was a bit of an ego and a slight lack of compassion. The overall condition of the facilities were desperately needing upgrading, from the dirty carpets to the narrow halls and tiny rooms. Despite this I would still continue to got back to seek his professional opinion and expertise again.
