Dr. Steinbach has treated both my cats for the last three years. My one cat was attacked by a dog and brought in severe shock and paralyzed. I was so impressed by how Dr. Steinbach handled the entire emergency situation - we were informed all the way through, able to make decisions about the tests, he was knowledgeable about the most current solutions and medications. I'm not one to blindly do what the doctor says, I need to understand and decide for myself and I agreed with his recommendations each time. He managed to pull Angel through, was compassionate and wring about her, while also being considerate about cost, although cost would not have been a factor for us! Angel is well, happy, and fully recovered! And I continue to go back to Dr. Steinbach and he remembers her history, her personality, and us in great detail. His knowledge of cat psychology is unsurpassed by any vet I've met. I have brought our latest cat to him as well and had the same experience, HIGHLY recommend him!

Goes above and beyond and actively seeks answers to issues. My mini schnauzer had at least 3-4 more years because of Dr Steinbeck. He is very caring too. Loves animals

Rude receptionist, just don't seem to have the time for you. Rushed through my appointment- Dr. S seems like he is more interested in hearing himself talk than helping my pet.

I have been using this vet for almost 6 years and had always been happy with the service until recently. Our 6 year old dog had been sick and was under the vet's care. At 5am on Sunday morning she died at home. I called the emergency number and waited for an hour with no callback. Got a hold of another vet and was helped immediately. On Monday I called valley vet as I still had not heard from them and asked for an explanation and was told they would get back to me....still waiting! I will never go back to them again.

Given quote for tooth extraction. He spent more time explaining the quote than actually looking at my dog. Decided to get a 2nd opinion. That vet's quote was 1/2 the price and he spent more time checking my dog than explaining the quote.

A little more expensive than other vets yet I have been dealing with them for years, as has my family. Be it horses, dogs or cats I trust Dr. Steinebach. He was very professional and compassionate when it came to my 8-year-old dog having to be put down and made every effort to make sure he was comfortable and given dignity in his last moments. He has also dealt with a couple of my horses over the years (including one that was not so fond of vets and he made sure to take his time so the next time would be easier).

Have seen this vet on emergency basis a couple of times. He's probably the most expensive vet in town, but he's good and really knows his stuff. If you want the best of the best and cost is no option, I would highly recommend this vet.

Dr.Steinebach is one of the best diagnostic vets who owns superior diagnostic equipment. He isn't the cheapest but he is the best.. And we have used many vets over the years.

After visiting three different vets over a seemingly insurmountable skin problem with my dog, I visited Dr. Steinebach. In one visit, he put my mind at ease, came up with a treatment plan, and within a month, my dog was fine. This is after years of her being on steroids, antibiotics, topical creams, and scratching so hard her skin blend - one month, her skin was pink, healthy, and beautiful. I have had a cancer scare with the same dog, and they were reassuring, kind and informative, and did an excellent job on both the surgery and the aftercare. Everything from a dental cleaning to picking up food has been a good experience. Every good thing I heard about this office was true.

Found this vet on the web cuz we are new to town. Way impressed with Dr. Steinberg. He was thorough and really kind to us (me and my dog). In the end he solved our problem in a way that avoided an operation that i thought we had to have done and almost for sure saved us a pile of money which I wasn't expecting....his staff seemed pretty nice too.

Not the cheapest in town but by FAR the best. Mark Steinebach really knows his stuff and takes great care of all my animals big and small. The staff are great especially Melissa the assistant who is great for all things canine especially behavior - I was having real problems with one of my dogs behaving and all her advice worked. Also love Sue on reception, she's straight to the point but gets things done and always knows what shes talking about especially the food and of course cats! The hospital is always spotless and he staff will always make time for you however busy they are.

I had my dog's wrecked knee ligament fixed there and this vet did a new way of doing it...TPLO. My dog is able to run and jump and its great. The staff was so great. I called like a million times with questions and they never acted annoyed and were always real patient with me. Even before the operation the vet made sure that my dog was not going to have any risks under anasthetic. I got to see the hospital and it was awesome and clean. after the operation, the vet and his staff all called to make sure everything was going ok. He gave me a referal to see a vet in Aldergrove afterward for physiotherapy which was pretty expensive but really helped make the healing go faster. After my last checkup and xray I got to have a Cd with all the xray pictures on it of before and after the operation so I put it on my screen saver. I would go here again. These people took good care of me and my dog and the atmosphere there is so good and positive .

This is a horrible vet. Dr. Steinbach did not take my pet's history into account and my pet suffered as a result. Also used an off label dug for longer than recommended, and caused my elderly pet to have to be under anesthetic twice when both procedures could have been done at the same time. He is only interested in making money. anesthetic twice

I saw this vet after hours on emergency and he was great. Compassionate and understanding. He was able to run some blood tests right away and figured out the problem. I came back the next day and saw another woman vet who was very nice. Tones of written info about the problem. Great, clean, nice facility and better service by a mile than I ever got at emergency for myself. Loved Tasha the receptionist....super nice and knowledgeable. If I ever need a vet again, this is where i'm going.

HORRIBLE Vet. I will NEVER bring any of my animals to see Dr. Steinbach again. After I specifically requested that my dog not be sedated for an ultrasound, they sedated her anyways which is extremely detrimental to her health being that she already had liver disease. Her recovery from that was horrible and they could not handle her. Not educated in Radiology as nothing was found by Steinbach however when taken to another clinic, there was much found! Said he likes a challenge however after doing tests on my baby girl he said he was confused at the findings and didn't know what to do other than refer me to another vet. Not compassionate. I would NOT deal with him if he was the last vet on earth.

Excellent vet.They may charge a bit more than some vets but they are thorough and they truely care. Dr Steineback is awsome. Dr. Klein is great too...I just don't know her as well or as long as I've known Dr. Steinebach. I can't say enough about how wonderful and caring both vets and their assistants are.

This vet might be more expensive that the others here in town, but it is well worth it. They have saved my dog, if it was not for Dr. Steinbach and his staff, my Emma would have been dead..he saved her and I am forever grateful.
