i believe that you get what you pay for and that Dr. Herman and her and her staff are some of the best at what they do. if you can't afford there fees (which are about the same as everyone else i have looked in to) then you should have taken home the pet in the first place. the staff is very knowledgeable and nice. i felt like they really cared and loved my pet. i trust them completely with my pets and always will!!!!

This vet is only after money! They over vaccinated my sick puppy. I brought proof of previous vaccinations and they chose to re-vaccinate him less than two weeks later. Their reason: because they weren't the ones to give him the first set. What?! After spending $300 at their clinic for my sick puppy he still hasn't even been checked by the vet, only incompetent vet techs. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. After asking around I have since discovered that they are well known around town for being money hungry and having no concern for the animals they treat. We will obviously never entrust them to care for our animals again and I would recommend that anyone who is actually concerned for the welfare of their animals avoid this vet at all cost.

The staff and doctors are very kind. But the costs of services is completely outrageous. I think they know that since they are the only Vet in Patterson they can pretty much charge what ever they want. Just for a exam and a shot it cost 52.50. My dog needed to be nuetered and also needed another surgery and they quoted me 325.-380. I got other quotes in Tracy, Modesto, Manteca all in the low 200. I ended up going to Stockton Pacific Verterinary Hospital and they charged me 80.00 total and did a great job.
