Just wanted to thank the staff at Little Mountain and Dr. Banyard and her staff! I have been a client for over a year now and I wouldn’t have my senior dog today if it wasn’t for her and her staff! We found a huge mass on his X-rays and did blood work and urinalysis and thought about what would be best for our boy. We thought about what would be kindest to him, what the lilihood of cancer would be and his age and the cost. We decided on surgery. He had his whole spleen removed with a huge mass and sent it in for testing and it came back as no cancer! We just celebrated his 10 year birthday! He is so happy! Healed up quickly and without any problems whatsoever. We were so scared. But with Dr. Banyards extensive knowledge and expertise we are cuddling our boy living life to the fullest with a great outlook. Thank you!

Our wirehaired pointing Griffon "Dexter" was still a puppy when our local vet discovered a nasty and painful puncture wound in his upper gum, caused by a malocclusion of the canine teeth. This extremely painful wound and very troublesome condition needed immediate treatment. There are less than a handful of veterinary dental specialists/orthodontic surgeons in B.C. and after much research we consulted with Dr Jo Banyard at Little Mountain. Absolutely amazing, the treatment went well, the care he received was stellar and Dr Banyard continued to support us and encourage us during the weeks of stressful treatment. We live a very long distance away and made two trips to ensure Dexter's recovery. We will continue to take Dexter to Dr Banyard for his future dental cleanings. That is how important it is to us. Please take a moment and look at the detailed professional video's Dr Banyard has created on youtube. search for her name and look for Dexter, parts 1 2 and 3!

Little Mountain Veterinary Clinic has been absolutely rock-solid amazing in performing major dental surgery on my severely compromised (kidney failure) 6 yr old Shar-pei. I have nothing but praise for all aspects of the top-notch care the entire staff at Little Mountain have provided over the past 2 surgeries done over a 2 week period. Follow-up care has been amazing also. I have absolutely zero qualms about recommending this fantastic clinic to anyone in need of top-quality pet care at very reasonable rates. Thank you, Dr. Banyard, Charlene, Jodi, & Serenity for the superb patient & customer service!

I have taken my pets to this veterinarian for years and each time I go, I am truly impressed by her knowledge and ability to keep up with the newest medications / treatments in medicine. The facility is set up for any situation and the staff are friendly and helpful. I appreciate the full examinations that come along with annual vaccinations. It is not just a simple matter of poking my pets but a full exam ensuring their best health first. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a veterinarian. Tina

Dr. Baynard performed an extensive 3rd surgery (the previous 2 were at aother clinic) on an ACL problem with my 10 yr old female. The dog was in pain and the thigh muscle was atrophying from lack of use. I was afraid amputation might be necessary. Dr. Baynard did a wonderful job, pre- and post-operative care were great. I was impressed with her concern for the animal and her thoroughness ensuring that I understood the options, procedures, costs and possible outcomes. The dog, 3 mths later, is doing really well. I'm very grateful to the staff at Little Mountain. Bobbi Jacob

Im new to the area and went here with my sick cat and they were great! Hospital staff were very nice and they had the blood machines in the hospital to find out the results of my cats blood within 10 minutes which i was very thankful for. The vet explained all my options and they showed me an estimate of stuff they wanted to do and they worked well with my budget and explained what was most important. I would and will recommend this vet to my friends and family.

I recently saw this vet for my dog's broken tooth. She was very helpful and informative on my options- however, I couldn't do the expensive stuff cuz of the costs, so she ended up removing it. Also, the staff were very helpful and I feel like they worked within my budget.

This vet is weird! Havent been back but vet wanted me to get 'poop's' and didnt want to give me any dewormer didnt 'recommend' it, not even a generic one which i think is not fair! I came in for the exam! She isnt very friendly, seems like she doesnt want to be there. Clinic looks like its very ghetto old decor! All pink its actually comical to be in 2012 with it like that and way she dresses, Vet and clinic are stuck in olden times i think. Staff are nice I liked the blonde receptionist even though I have only been once. I will find a more modern hospital. BY looking at Vet ratings maybe Valley Vet

I called after the after hours emergency line as one of my pets had been bitten and was bleeding profusely. The dispatcher was very friendly but the vet was another story, she called back and asked who my regular vet was. Well, I deal with a few depending on the animal and medical needs. She said that none of those vets were on "this rotation" and that I would have to call them. Ummm, what is the point of having an emergency after hours if you are not going to treat animals who really need help? She was very abrupt, rude, and did not offer any alternatives for my injured pet. I will not use or refer anyone to this vet.

Went here as this was the on-call vet when my dog was torn apart in a fight. I thought the original investigation was okay, then she gave us three options of treatment, leave it open, stitch it, or full surgery. I told her whatever was best for the dog. She gave us a bunch of reasons why leaving it open would be best, and then gave us some iodine solution to pour onto the wounds. I went to my regular vet Monday morning and the dog needed major surgery. I guess she just didn't have the time on a Saturday night to deal with my dog. The worst thing was the report she sent to my vet stated that "owner chose cheapest option". Fortunately my regular vet knows me better than that. Ended up paying twice and the dog got really sick and almost died. I wonder if that would have happened if he had been treated properly in the first place instead of waiting over 24 hours for PROPER treatment.
