Dr Oz saved my cat's life. After a missed diagnosis by another vet, thank goodness I got in to see Dr oz. My cat had to have emergency dental surgery and they kept me in the loop throughout the whole procedure. Houdini recovered well and is as chunky and happy as always.
Thank you to all the staff at Rose valley for the care and help

I am in complete disbelief that this clinic has a popular rating. It is horrific how my dog was handled and the price tag attached for no answers. To have a vet say he will take an Xray, but will not look at it (sends it out for extra fees) is baffling. If an animal is acutely ill, he doesn't "look" at an Xray to have some semblance of what is happening? Dr Oz is nothing more than a slick salesman, taking advantage of your anxiety, and then giving you an atrocious bill that has not even started to solve the issue. When I suggested tests, he was totally condescending, and ran around in circles. He overlooked the main issue, did tests that he won't "look" at, then tries to get you back in a couple of days for further tests that he sends out for further fees. IF you have a lot of money, and do not want answers, and want tests that a vet cannot decipher himself, then this is the vet for you. But if you care about your pet, take them somewhere else.

What an emotional couple of days... We cannot thank Dr Oz and his team at Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital enough for saving our baby Rubble. The quality of care, love and professionalism they gave to Rubble and our family is something we will always be greatful for. The team at Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital acted quickly in a critical time as our 12 week old baby Rubble managed to injest a tac. Thankfully they were able to remove the tac and our baby is now home relaxing and on the path to recovery! I would also like to give huge huge huge thanks to Dr Oz himself who stayed overnight at the clinic with our baby to make sure he was safe and comfortable. So much gratitude, it warms my heart knowing there are such amazing people looking after all of our fur babies!!!???? Highly highly recommend Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital!

His prices are ridiculous, he does tests that are unnecessary by scaring you into believing if you don't your pet will die during surgery. When he tells you to expect a price range from a) to b) guarantee it will always be the top end of b) or over and then he throws in that he is not charging you for his time, which is easy to say when he over charges for the rest of the stuff on the bill. Then you feel guilty for complaining as you mortgage your house to pay the bill. There are other vets out there, ask around, especially about costs.

Run while you still can! Dr. Oz says he's not going to charge you for his time but he sure knows to extra charge for all the other stuff so you end up paying way more. You might as well give him your bank card and PIN number. I think he's a better salesman that a vet. He's not compassionate and certainly rushes you through your appointment and barely allows you to ask questions. I'm never going back there again.

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO ROSE VALLEY VET CLINIC. They hurt our pet in the clinic and did not tell us. Dr. Oz was manipulative and took advantage of our sick pet. He overcharged for unnecessary tests and procedures. While our pet was inside the vet clinic Dr. Oz or an inexperienced vet aid injured him. Our pet had a random large deep gash wound. We discovered this in horror at home. Rose Valley would no doubt deny this happened in their clinic. They certainly did not admit to this horrendous malpractice. He had no injuries before the vet and nothing happened between picking him up and later finding the gash. His scar is still visible and the fur has not grown back. This was extremely cruel malpractice. There is no genuine compassion or professional treatment at Rose Valley. No matter how much gullible praise there is it does not discount hurting pets or allowing this to be ignored. Malpractice, negligence, misconduct and cruelty should be completely irrevocably unacceptable.

After moving here a few months ago, I really thought I had found a good vet, although none can compare to the vet I had in Edmonton. I was so wrong. My dog was given unnecessary tests that I felt rushed to decide on and I spent more in one visit there than I have in the past 10 yrs with my dog. I really felt scammed and was given different answers to the same questions about my dog’s condition. I don’t think he is truly authentic and is really about the popularity he has somehow received and the exorbitant fees he charges for things that aren’t even necessary. Really disappointed.

Dr. Oz, you are a very kind man! Thank you so much for taking care of my Amber! I am telling everyone I know, with pets or without, about your clinic. As it turns out, most of the people in the valley know about you already, and about an exceptional service you provide. Amber is recovering fast after her spear grass removal surgery. The cone was a challenge on the 1st day. Now she is a pro, navigating the cone around the obstacles. She gets extra attention from all the neighbors, so she couldn’t be happier. Thank you again Dr. Oz and everyone in your office! Truly appreciate your help and care!

If you're looking for a place who's vet and staff are kind, caring and compassionate, you've come to the right place! Dr. Oz and his staff took great care of us when our dog was attacked by a deer and needed surgery. They answered all our questions, offered options and provided detailed and complete instructions for our dog's care afterwards as well as reassuring us that she would be okay. Our doggie is back to her usual perky self chasing her ball and we couldn't be more happy to still have her around. Thank you so much to Dr. Oz and staff!

We came on time and had to wait for 45min. After that we were suggested $700 test program- bloodwork and x-rays. When asked about what actual teatment would include- depends on x-ray results. Dr. Oz did not examine the cat at all, more interested in making money than anything else. I would not recommend this vet to people making average canadian salary. We left without much needed help, spend $90 for visit. Tomorrow going to another clinic.

Was not impressed with Dr. Oz! He did a puppy exam on our puppy. He didn't really look her over much and I had to ask twice in regards to the main reason we brought her in. He seemed more concerned that we put a picture of our dog on his Facebook page as he was excited to have one of her breed as a client. He mentioned it during the exam twice and again on our way out. I believe he is a master of marketing and the use of social media. I do question his endless 5 star reviews. In a normal business there is bound to be unhappy people. He is definitely not the only vet who volunteers his services or to go "out of his way" to take excellent care of people's pet's. There are many selfless vets in the Okanagan who do not toot their own horns or have a media site spread the propaganda (castanet). He may be a really awesome guy, but he is preoccupied with his image and status as a vet and left our puppy with a less than adequate exam. Will not be going back.

Dr. Oz and his staff are so kind and so generous. My puppy had an emergency and they were happy to take us right away, they also gave comprehensive instructions as to her care afterwards and the staff did a great job of reassuring myself that she would be fine. The staff make it a point to remember your face, and they are always friendly when you arrive. Dr. Oz cares so much, he is really a next level vet! You always hear of himself and his staff being the first ones to offer shelter to animals when people were displaced from their homes by the fire warnings, or to give their time for charity. Truly amazing people. It is worth the drive over to West Kelowna for the level of care we receive for our beloved pets.

The team at the Rose Valley Clinic are so caring and compassionate. Dr. Oz is excellent. He takes the time to explain what is wrong with my pets and what options for testing there is and why the test will help with his diagnose. He always has the time to answer all my questions and is compassionate with my concerns. The team at Rose Valley understands that your pet is not just a pet but is one of the family/ one of the kids!! Thank you for all you do!!!

I came to Rose Valley after reading the great reviews, but my experience with Dr. Oz left a lot to be desired. My cat needed a new vet due to a distant move. I had all my cats health records, which had detailed previous treatments, ready for her first visit but Dr. Oz was not interested. He said he would rather start fresh which meant multiple tests/xrays before we talked treatment. The total cost of my first visit to the vet was over $700 - due to all his test requests. Additionally, Dr. Oz didn't seem to listen, he talked over me, and was condescending when I told him about previous experiences with his requests. He has a very busy practice, and it feels like he is just rushing from one room to another. He continually confused my cats gender and health issues within the same visit. I have three other cats, and it's just not feasible to bring them all in if it's going to be $300-700 per visit. He is not a humble man, and kept talking about how he is the best vet in the province.

We were charged more than double for a routine surgery. He charged for work that was unnecessary and we ended up with a bill for $1200!!! So when I called to complain about our bill, Dr. Oz agreed to reduce it but then tried to guilt me into paying it because of all he does for the community. He might be praised but I think he's a crook.

I have been extremely pleased with this clinic. The staff are pleasant and professional. Dr. Oz is a kind and compassionate vet, also very straight forward, providing me with answers to all my questions and giving me clear options for treatment. An excellent surgeon, he has performed 2 surgeries on my sick elderly dog and pulled her thro. Dr. Oz and his staff provided excellent aftercare as well with many phone calls and free rechecks. Highly recommended.

We are so thankful for Dr.Oz and his team. They have helped us through a very difficult time with both our little terriers. I have never had to wait long for an appt and Dr Oz always greets my and my pets by name. He has always been fair and meticulous, never charging me for things we didn't need. Unfortunately, our oldest terrier had to be put down, and Dr Oz helped us through this difficult transition with genuine empathy and understanding. I feel very safe leaving my pets in his care.

Dr. Oz has been an amazing Dr. to my 2 cats. I had to have Billy Bob put down last year shortly after I had moved from a different province .I lucked out choosing Rose Valley and seeing Dr. Oz He was so gentle and compassionate and caring that I would not ever go to a different vet. This month I had to take Tina in for shots and he discovered a problem with her teeth. She had to have surgery done and I did not worry at all as I knew she was in good hands. She has made a great recovery. Thank you very much Dr Oz for all your wonderful work in the community that you perform as well and for being such a wonderful human being that I can trust.

Dr Oz is by far the best vet Ive ever met. His staff is very friendly and compasionate as well. It is very obvious that animals are the priority there, not money. He does not recommend unnecessary treatments as Ive known other places to do. Im always reading that he donates his time to do emergency surgies for animals saving many lives. He took great care of our puppy when she fell ill and it was comforting to know she was in great hands. I HIGHLY reccommend Rose Valley to anyone looking for a vet for their animals.

I was visiting in West Kelowna when I saw that my 3 year old shih tzu had developed a bad eye. It was early Sunday morning. I called the clinic and the doctor said he would meet me there in one hour. He opened the clinic just for us! Totally amazing. He quickly diagnosed an ulcerated cornea, treated my precious girl and asked me to stop in before I headed back to Vancouver for a free recheck. Also told me that whatever the time, if I needed him, to call. I consider this absolutely amazing service! If I lived here, he would definitely be my Vet. Thank you Dr. Oz!

I just wanted to say how wonderful the staff are, and Dr. Oz. Not only did he donate his time to perform my dog's surgery, he was caring, compassionate and very accommodating. He didn't overcharge me and didn't recommend further treatments that weren't necessary. I've had a ton of terrible experiences with other vets in the Kelowna area, and I will take my dog to another vet! I highly recommend Dr. Oz and his staff. They took such great care of my baby!

This clinic is absolutely wonderful! The staff are caring and compassionate. Before I picked up my puppy, I went to different Vet clinics in the area to meet the Vets and see the clinic and staff. Dr Oz blew me away with his love for the animals and for his job. He had me sold. This was the best decision I could have made. Even though my puppy is only 6 months old, we have unfortunately required quite a few vet visits. My puppy was bit by another dog at a dog park in town. Dr Oz stayed late on New Years Eve to stitch up my puppy. We are forever grateful for his kind compassionate heart. He took great care mending my puppy and has given many follow up visits after both of his surgeries, free of charge, to ensure my puppy is recovering well. He has made it very clear that we can contact him at any point if we have any questions. He is always on call. I couldn't ask for a greater Vet. Not to mention my puppy absolutely loves him!

Dr. Oz is a kind and loving man when it comes to dealing with a member of your family that means the world to you. I would want everyone who has a pet take them to Dr. Oz he will treat them with love and kindness and do what ever he thinks is the best for them, he thinks about the animal and family first before anything else, he always ready to help and will always be there day or night. This is the best vet clinic I have been to. Dr Oz has passion for his work and genuinely cares about the pets of his customers. Even on days when the vet is closed, an emergency number is provided and Dr Oz is willing to help. In addition to the vet/boarding services offered, you can always find a helpful advice article or amazing story about the good work done at Rose Valley Vet on the local news or in a local paper. What a blessing to have access to this vet!

We recently moved to the area and were looking for a vet we could trust. Rose Valley came highly recommended from a friend. Dr. Oz did a fabulous job with our dog's surgery at a very fair price. Furthermore, they followed up frequently after the dogs surgery. I wouldn't think of going to another clinic.

My dachshund's nail trimmings were always traumatic - never mind shots and treatments! - but he is calm and quiet and the staff are so gentle and so kind.

On several occasions I've been in a pinch and Dr. Oz has been able to see my dogs not charging me for an exam. I still have to pay for medication, but it's so helpful that he was accommodating for my situation. AMAZING staff, amazing doctors, kind and professional. They are an animal Hospital so you can call them in the middle of the night if you have an emergency. They will ALWAYS help you. Thank you Rose Valley Vet! We and my pup boys appreciate everything you do for the community!

Amazing! We had an emergency with our little 8 lb chihuahua****zu Zoe, they immediately took us in and were professional, kind and experienced. Zoe was in a lot of pain as her anal glands ruptured internally - Dr. Oz performed surgery and helped us out with every aspect including follow up appointments to ensure she healed up ok, which she did - remarkably before expected. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. I will be back, they will be my go to vet when I am in Kelowna and for annual checkups (when I'm in town) and I would not hesitate to send my friends and family to them! Thoughtful, professional, generous and experienced makes them a 10/10 in my books!!! Wish they were located in Calgary :(

Dr. Oz and his staff are absolutely amazing. Our cat is very ill and required surgery. Dr. Oz was exceptionally caring throughout this experience. He was transparent about the prognosis and the cost of treatment, and committed to trying every option. He even spent the night in the clinic specifically to make sure our cat was safe and comfortable when he was weak following the surgery. We are so greatful for all he and his staff have done, and their ongoing support have allowed us to make difficult decisions with confidence.

I highly recommend Rose Valley Vet. My dog Meika was recently attacked and Dr. Oz and the staff at Rose Valley were absolutely amazing. They were open on the long weekend, rushed Meika in for surgery right away, and knowing that I was not anticipating this unexpected cost, they reduced the cost significantly for me as well as monitoring her twice a day until she was better at no extra cost. Meika used to be nervous going to the vet but now actually enjoys going there because she knows what great care they take of her. Dr. Oz and the staff are truly compassionate and caring people and I could not have asked for better care for my baby. I would absolutely recommend them to any animal lover.

The rates for first vaccination for a puppy were better than other clinics in the area. We felt rushed for our puppy's first visit and had to ask the dr. to fully check our puppy's health. Staff were friendly but that is really the only nice thing that I could say.

I cannot say enough great things about this wonderful Vet Hospital. Dr's Moshe & Noah Oz are two of the most compassionate people I have ever met. Their devotion to the well being of all animals is exceptional. I have the highest regard for them and I know that they are, by far, the kindest veterinarians I have ever been to. The staff are also wonderful, kind, and caring and they are an integral part of your whole experience at this Hospital. Thank you all - I am forever indebted to you for how you have helped me and my fur babies over the last four years.
