I had the worst experience at this vet clinic. Had to wait 2 weeks to get in to have my puppy receive his shots. I chose to drive to their clinic from Vermilion (45 minute drive). My appointment was at 9am. They would not let me enter the clinic (despite the face that covid restrictions have been lifted). They made me stand outside in 30C weather, as they were 20 minutes late. When I finally got to speak with someone I expressed my concern with my experience up until this point. The staff member that I was dealing with was VERY rude, even stating that having to wait 20 minutes is "no big deal" I assure you, after driving 45 minutes and waiting another 20 minutes, to be treated with incredible disrespect was shocking to me. They have lost my business for life! The WORST customer service at a vet clinic that I have EVER received.

We have been going to Weir Veterinary Clinic for many, many years. The professionalism and compassion shown to us and our dogs has been second to none. They always made time for us, no matter what our concerns for our dogs were, and believe me, we had quite a few with our 3 dogs (we would be known as worrisome parents). They would always give a follow-up call at home to make sure everything was fine. We were very confident that our dogs would be very well taken care of here, and we were never disappointed. We found the staff to be very friendly and always remembered our dogs, and our dogs were very happy to see all of the staff. We would like to give Doug and all of the staff 4 out of 4 paws.

This clininc has been in Lloyd since the 50's and has always expanded and updated their facilities.The son has run it now for 20 years and it is great to go there. They really know their stuff and treat animals well. I feel welcome there even though we do not go in often.Last time in the vet recomended some glucosamine for my 15 year old poodle and it made a world of difference to his stiffness. thanks doc.Being from Edmonton I find their prices very fair.

Highly recommended,I have been taking both my dogs there since they were pups and i am very happy with the clinic its self, there is a few vets i dont care for but there is a few i would highly recommend, i have spent tons of money there, some was un needed due to the vets not listening to me what was wrong with my dog, but due to the few good vets which i usually get i wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else. When there are emergency problems they always squeeze me in that day, and there after hours call out is really fast, the vet usually beats me there.

I have been taking my dog here since he was a pup and his care has usually been decent. Although recently he was being treated ( 2.5 weeks of trying different meds) for a deep scratch on his eye that became a rather bad ulcer. When they decided that his eye had gotten too bad for them to treat here they recommended I take him to the animal hospital in Saskatoon the next day. That same evening his eye ended up rupturing. I called the after hours number and described his current situation. The vet on call (not his regular vet) said that I should not bother going to Saskatoon, because they would just send me back to Lloyd to have the ruptured eye removed. I chose to ignore this and take him to Saskatoon anyway. His eye was saved. Had I been referred to Saskatoon sooner his situation would not have been so bad. I am very disappointed. This ordeal cost me quite a bit of money - several appoinments to check the eye and at least 7 different meds - which obviously didn't work. Not impressed.
