We brought our cat in for an animal bite. They cut him open to drain the wound. Gave him a shot of antibiotic. Sent him home with an open wound and no antibiotic. Told us to clean the wound with preoxide and water. Now we have to bring him in for emergency care with no money. He is really sick with a huge puss sack on his back.Never will I bring him back there. Who has ever heard of sending an outside cat home with a gaping wound and no antibiotics.

Would not help out a dying cat. Would not even agree to see him for less then 90.00. Even though they treat his parents. They help out there favorites but not people who actually need help with money and their beloved pets. My cat had liver cancer and do you know what they vet put him down for $10.00! Exam included. This was in Colchester not the poor town of Highgate. These People knew I was unemployed for over a year and only trying to help my best friend of over nine years. If I had been my sister-in-law they would have helped her on payment plans or billed her. The town of Highgate does not need a place like this it needs a place that will help the poor have animals they love. They also did not help me when I went in and one of my cats was shot by a neighbor. Heartlessly they said call they said call the cops this is when I was working and had money but I lived in a low income trailer park because of my son and me. They need a wake up call. They recently screwed over mother inlaw 2
