I've been going to this vet for five years and I LOVE them. My dog is excited to go here. They are so nice and caring. The prices are very reasonable. Unless I move I will never go to another vet!

AVOID THIS VET AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. This was the most ridiculous doctor I've ever encountered in my life. We brought in our old dog to see if anything could be improved about his condition. We already know he's been deteriorating and he has had lots of health problems but figured it was still worth a vet visit. The vet recommended IV fluids and to monitor him for a day. Come time to pick him up and HE REFUSED TO LET US TAKE HIM HOME. I don't care what kind of b**llsh*t he gave for why we couldn't take him home. If we want to put him down that is OUR decision to make because he is OUR DOG. The vet was forcing us to put him down right there and then, claiming that if we took him home he would call the SPCA. He is OUR dog WE make the decision to put him down, NOT THE VET. HE HAD NO RIGHT TO EVEN TRY TO KEEP OUR DOG FROM US. Avoid this place with your life because this is the worst animal hospital I've ever been to.

Took my indoor cat of 9 years in for a minor eye infection. The receptionist was very friendly and accomodating. Received eye drops and returned home. Later that night, my cat started itching violently, only to discover she had picked up fleas from the vet's examination room. Again, this is an INDOOR cat that lives in an apartment and doesn't go on the patio or in the hallway and has NEVER had fleas. I took the cat back to the vet the next morning, and he insisted the cat must have gotten the fleas from somewhere other than his office. Impossible. Received flea medicine, which he was more than happy to charge me for. Beware and bring your own towel for the examination room!

My friend brought their cat here and you can barley understand the guy for one. They have terrible customer service, telling us to stop calling when we are worried about the cat. Then the receptionist tells us we cant leave kitty there because they will try and kill themselves.... they misdiagnose stuff, and do minumum treatment when the cat was getting sicker and could have died... NEVER bring your pet here..

I love love love this vet! Dr Maan is the greatest. He truly cares about his clinic and his clients and it shows. He was willing to come in after hours to see my dog when he ate something toxic. He has the perfect person working at with him. She's a genuinely nice lady who clearly loves her job. I've recommended this clinic to every one of my friends.

I brought my new puppy in for his second shots and was so happy with the experience. I chose Dr. Maan because of the good reviews I had heard about and found him to be a very nice person. He was friendly and accommodating and gave me a lot of information about what I should and shouldn't do with my new puppy. The girl at the front counter is very nice to talk to and seemed to really love my puppy. I will definitely recommend this vet to my friends.

Honestly, I could not really believe all the positive reviews until I met Dr.Mann and his assistant. I made an appointment for my cat and dog as I'm taking them abroad. When I got there, the assistant had all the shots needed to be taken for the specific country that I am visiting, how long it would take, and how it would affect my travel schedule.
I was impressed!
Dr.Mann greeted with a smile. Oh, his accent was fine. He doesn't charge for first visit examination fee. I was surprised. He examined my dog first and indicated that he has a bad stained teeth and suggested to clean. I agreed and was surprised because the price is much lower than other vets. The way he handed my dog I could tell he really loves animals.

So far only great experience with Dr. Maan. Took my puppy for her shots and spaying surgery.
Once my puppy got sick and when I called (on the weekend, morning hours) and I explained the symptoms - Dr. Maan said to bring her in and he'll be at the hospital within 20 - 30 minutes...It gives me great comfort when you can count on the vet in case of emergency.
I've been dealing so far with one of the assistants, Alexa and she has such a nice and warm personality and was always helpful and patient with me answering all my questions (being a first time dog owner).
We left our puppy recently for two weeks with them when we went on vacation (they offer boarding services as well) and our puppy was happy and well taken care of when we picked her up.
Forgot to mention that their fees are very reasonable.

I had just moved to the lower mainland and was having such a hard time finding a good, honest vet. I ran into someone at a dog park who recommended Edmonds St. to me and thank god they did! Dr. Maan is the best. He is an incredible vet who truly cares about myself and my dogs. The fact that he can be difficult to understand is the least of my concerns especially when he has an amazing assistant who can and will clarify everything for clients. I'm so happy to have found this place and recommend them to anyone and everyone I meet!

A couple weeks ago I called in to book and appointment for my bunny to be spayed. They were very accommodating and able to book me in around my schedule. I dropped her off in the morning and was able to pick her up that day. There prices were extremely affordable and the front desk girl very friendly. I highly recommend this clinic and will definitely be returning.

I found Edmonds after calling around to find an affordable price for a dental for my pug. Edmonds' price was well below the price of any other clinic so I thought I'd give it a try. Dr. Maan was very friendly and booked me in right away with whatever worked for my schedule. Even with two extractions, pain meds, and antibiotics to go I could afford the bill! A few months later my pug ripped her toenail out at 8:00pm, right at closing time. Dr. Maan said 'no problem', come on down. I was really worried as she was bleeding pretty badly and was really comforted by the fact that he invited me in the back to be with her while he treated her. Two hours later she ripped the bandage off and licked her wound open, I called him back and he told me to come back down again. He RE-OPENED the clinic for me!! I would have had to drive down to an ER clinic and pay $200 just to get through the door. Needless to say this is now my regular clinic and my pug loves stopping by just to visit him and Alexa.

To Dr Maan: Thank you for going the extra mile by taking those after hour telephone calls and providing much needed support in the decision to euthanize our family cat of 17 years. It was an extremely difficult time for myself and my family that you made much easier.
This was my first contact with Dr Maan whom I called at the end of his store hours but he was still willing too meet with my family to assess the physical condition of our cat. He professionally evaluated her condition, explained the options and the procedure. Dr Maan understood the emotional difficulty of our decision and treated us with kindness, compassion and understanding. He was thoughtful and considerate to give us privacy to spend our last moments with her.
Dr Maan dealt with us over a two day period to complete the private cremation arrangements showing us his procedure to ensure animal identification in the back of the hospital. This is a dedicated man you can trust to care for your family member.

I recently took in a pregnant stray and she had 4 kittens and I was overwhelmed with my vet's prices. When the kittens were 8 weeks - I came home from work to find momma in heat - I luckily found this place and they took her with no notice and spayed her at a very affordable price with exceptional care! I kept 2 of her kittens and once again Dr. Mann took me on very short notice and spayed and neutered the kittens at at very affordable price. I am very happy with the staff and Dr. Mann. He even gave me a pet carrier to take the kittens home in as they were bursting out of my little cat bag and I was going to take them home with no bag! Thank-You so much Dr. Mann for your exceptional service and Thank-you Edmonds St. Animal Hospital!

I am a volunteer there. I am lucky enough to witness a c-section a week ago. Dr. Maan first took the X-ray and measured the body temperature of the mother, and suggested to do a c-section. The puppies were not breathing when they came out and we thought they were dead; we immediately warmed them up by using a heat pad and removed any fluid/mucus from their noses/mouths. After ~30min, the puppies finally started to cry. We were all very happy that we were able to revive them. This is a great experience for me and I would recommend him to any pet owners.

To be honest the staff are friendly but as mentioned by another reviewer DR Mann was a little hard to understand. What is really concerning is the awful red puffy stitching our dog came away with. Her ear Tattoo looked like a huge scab that we couldn't even read. Some of her hair stuck to the scab. The Dr did not give us any post operation advice. The secretary took our payment then got our puppy. I had to ask if there was any post operation things i should do. Was she allowed to eat? How long before she can run around? Pain killers? Water? Then i saw some blood on her belly! we had two Labradors neutered and they NEVER had blood at the incision site. The secretary said she's ok she is not bleeding anymore. I asked if I should be cleaning it. She said just used a wet cloth to wipe it. I am SO disappointed. My poor little girl would not even get up in the morning to go potty. She held her pee for over 12 hrs because she did not want to stand up! We will never take out pets here again!

I recently brought my dog in to have surgery for a ligament rupture in his knee. Dr.Maan was very thorough in the procedure and possible outcomes, he was very accommodating to my schedule and need for payment of the surgery. All of the staff were very friendly and had a genuine love for animals. The facility was clean and I was happy to bring my dog in for any post surgery check ups, as he was most comfortable with this clinic than any I have brought him to. His surgery went smoothly and he is making a great recovery. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good friendly vet for their animal, and I will be bringing my pets here from now on.

I was going away for a holiday and was looking for a place to board my dog. I tried contacting different dog boarding places but none of them would walk my dog often enough. I found out that Edmonds St. does boarding. My dog is on Glucosamine for sore hips and he needs to be walked every 6 or 7 hours. The girls told me that Dr. Maan lives within walking distance of the clinic and that he was willing to come in late night and early morning to give my dog his walks. He suggested we try another treatment and gave my boy 1 injection and a tiny amount of liquid medicine. Immediately I noticed my dog had improved. I would say that the problem is 80% better than before I sent him there for boarding.

I recently had my dog neutered at Edmonds Street Animal Hospital. Dr. Maan explained the procedure to us and then brought us to a very clean and well laid out operating room, where a very large dog was already under anesthetic. He explained the procedure, the stitching and length of the operation. We were very impressed with the speed and turnaround and received our chiuhuahua back after a two hour visit. We also had a concern about an slight allergy to one of the vaccines administered, which we did not remember to mention before the operation. Dr. Maan kindly provided a free antihistamine for that particular allergy. We are grateful for his kindness and compassion and will always consult with him in the future.

My dog was put under anasthetic yesterday by Dr Maan as she had several issues to be taken care of. Dr Maan explained that he used only the best anasthetic and would have her hooked up to all emergency equipment, including IV fluids. My dog has allergies/sensitivities. Dr Maan let me stay with my dog while going under anasthetic, stay and watch all of her procedures being done and, be there as my dog was coming out of anesthetic. He let me watch all procedrures being done and he works very fast paying attention to every intricate detail all at once. My dog had 5 sebaceous cysts removed, teeth cleaned, ears plucked and deep cleaned, anal glands expressed, hair shaved where her skin needed cleaning and ointment and medication for aftercare. I have never had this type of service and care from any vet in the past. His skills, kindness and compassion are outstanding! .. and all for a reasonable price.

I brought my little puppy to Edmonds St Animal Hospital for her spay and boosters. I had a lot of questions because this was my first pet. Dr.Mann was very nice and explained everything I needed to know about taking care of my puppy including diet, vaccines, deworming, flea medicine and aftercare. I was very impressed he took the time to give me all of this usefull information. I had taken her to another vet for her first set of vaccines and the bill was shocking. They had charged me 65 dollars for a checkup, even though I had never asked for one. They also suggested I needed an orthadontist for her teeth. Not only did Dr.Mann fix her teeth during her spay, there was no checkup fee when I brought her in for her boosters. He also told me not to hesitate to call him anytime if there is an emergency because he lives close by and will always answer his phone. That was such a relief for me because if anything were to happen I know I could not afford the emergency prices. Outstanding!

Took my dog to get spayed, Dr Maan was very friendly and and treated me and my dog well. Price very reasonable (less expensive than most vets) I would recommend very highly. Vet told me I can call him anytime night or day. Also to my surprise my dog looked better than expected after surgery, ready to play!

Our dog broke her leg on Sunday night. Nearly called emergency but my husband heard this vet takes after-hours calls, so we decided to call as it was close to our house. We called at 8pm on Sunday. Got the vet directly, said he was at the clinic and to bring her right in! He only charged us a regular vet visit fee instead of Emergency fees. The x-ray costs were reasonable, developed while we waited. Took her home that night because the surgeon wouldn't be available until the AM, but he offered to keep her there or even to pick me up at home to drive us back to the clinic in the AM w/her. Surgery went well. Offered to keep her there for a day while we sorted out the cash situation. She's been well cared for and on IV fluids and we will pick her up tonight, most likely continue her care with him. Only concern: Back room where dogs are kept smelled a bit of urine, but it visually looked clean enough and I watched fresh towels go in my dog's kennel, so I think it is fine.

I brought my dog in that had been suffering through a wound that was not healing even after 2 surgueris and countless bills at our previous vet. I went here because it was a new clinic and I thought I would give them a try. One operation and the wound has finally healed. The prices are reasonable and the Doctor answered all my questions. He does have a thick accent, but if you ask him to speak slowly it is easier to understand him. After the surgery they even called to see how my little guy was doing. They are a great team and I would reccomend him to anyone.

This clinic is still fairly new so their services are very cheap. I took my two new puppies here for their first shots and exams. The exams were free, but the vet only looked closely at one puppy and didn't really examine the other one. The vet has a very heavy accent so sometimes it's difficult to understand him. I'm a new pet owner so I had lots of questions, but he didn't really answer most of them, just gave me really generic answers or avoided the question. Also, he took out these nail clippers and demonstrated to me how to trim the puppies' nails, but then when I got the bill it turned out he charged me for the nail trim. I thought he was just showing me how to do it, I didn't know he was going to charge me for it. He didn't even trim all the nails, only a few on either puppy.
