Still hate this place so much after three years…I pray no one who loves their animal ever sets foot inside their door, in fact I wish they would close them down…my beautiful rottweiller, he still spayed her knowing , and not telling us that she had severe liver disease, till after he spayed her and got the money, she should never of been spayed, the money hungry piece of****, he sucked every bit of money out of us, don’t give a**** about your animal, never patted or touched our dogs once. I have so many horror stories I could share, my baby died at a little over a year, the staff are as bad as him, o personality and very rude, please I beg you, never take your babies there, never….horrible person Brett trembly. I hope karma kicks your ass good and hard

So thankful for Dr. Brett Tremble and staff, anytime I had a problem with my dog they always squeezed me in right away, they take really good care of my dog, he had major surgery last year , so glad Oaks Vet is here, I would recommend this place. they take new patients, give them a call you won't be disappointed

Stay away if you love your pet, most expensive vet around, no compassion, money hungry, wanted to cut my rottie open without even knowing what her liver problem was, spayed her when he knew her liver enzymes were off the chart….and didn’t even tell us for a week after he got the money for her surgery….run don’t walk away from there

I recommend staying away. My dog needed knee surgery it was explained to me the cost would be 3400-3700 then I get a bill of 5100.00 even though the surgery went well, no follow up and 5 months later my dog started limping again and I was told to take a look at it would cost and if another surgery was necessary I would have to pay another 3000-5000 which tells me that their veterinarians can totally mess up your pet and there is no recourse for their incompetence unless you decide to sue, which I am considering. They don’t care it’s all about the money!

Our dog stopped walking and eating over the weekend. We called to get an appointment and the staff were very prompt in responding. We had an appointment that day. After a few questions and physical the staff ordered blood work and an x-ray. It was suggested he needed hip surgery but we were given a few options from medicine to full surgery. We opted for surgery as we felt very comfortable with the explanations and outcomes. Dr. Tremble did a fantastic job and kept us informed of the progress. The staff at the clinic were very understanding and called us to give us daily updates on Jake's condition. I had to go out of town and needed to pick our dog up at 4am. The staff were happy to accommodate my request. When I picked Jake up they gave me excellent discharge information and even called the next day to check on his progress. Jake is walking around and doing great just a few days after surgery. The Oak's did a great job and I would highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner.

We brought our kitty to to this vet as an emergency. He was in a lot of pain and he was not eating. Spent half the day there. After doing a series of tests they told us they didn’t know what was wrong. Said it might be his pancreas, might be his splean or might be cancer. Said the only way to find out would be to do an exploratory surgery that would cost 2500$. Once the surgery would be done, they would send out a sample to find out what the problem was. They sent us home with pain meds (this visit ended up costing 710$). They said if he was not better after 3 days, the only option would be that surgery or putting him down. We cried for 2 days. We where very upset because we absolutely love our kitty. We ended up going to a different vet a couple of days later and they decided to hospitalize him and put him on an IV. Happy to say he is doing much better. I will never go back to Oaks vet. Doctor Houle really didn’t seem like she cared too much for our kitty.

I brought my 6 month old puppy in for an emergency, and I must say the fact that they are open 24/7 is the only convenient/positive aspect of this clinic. Instead of coaching us through what we should do to help our dog, the doctor put all options on the table (including an "exploratory surgery" which would cost over 800$) and let us decide. This was very upsetting and stressful. Luckily, we chose wisely to omit the surgery since we later found out she was only suffering from worms. She stayed overnight, and not once did they call me to update me on her situation. They misinformed me about the medication she had to take, and they "lost" her stool sample I brought in a few weeks after her appointment. Front desk staff ignores customers. There is an important lack of proactiveness and customer service in my opinion. They offered me a discount on her next appointment, but I can assure you I will never bring my pet there again.

We left the cat here for a night. Staff did not bother to check the cat during its stay. Did not return the leash the next morning. Unfriendly and rude front desk staff.

Used this clinic as I adopted a cat and it was the clinic that he went to, I found they where very over priced, took my cat in to get a fish hook removed from its cheek, they said they had to freeze it, but with how he screamed and the short amount of time they couldn't have froze him freezing would never have had time to set in, charged me $400+ and extra for antibotics, Also their prices change at random for simple things such as flea treatment,

Tremble terrorizes his staff and handles pets much too roughly, in my opinion. The techs all seem great. Because it is a newer clinic, the prices are sky-high. I will never take my pets to this clinic again.

At first we were vey immpressed by Tremble & Houle but lost our confidence gradually as our pets health deteriorated & they could not help. They could or would not recognize our little buddy's distress. Communication became little to nonexistent.Three weeks our little pet suffered per their instruction culminating with Trenble stating she was not in pain at all and her whimper from any light touch was like making a horse shiver by running his hand down it's side. After 22 long days of this torture our little buddy is back to near normal after only a few hours under the care of a truely caring and personable Vet who does "listen" and is one of the top two listed on this site. Pay very special attention to these ratings. Oaks Vet has helped people and their pets and if that has happened to you, you are very lucky indeed because from my impression here there is a 50/50 chance of that happening. And our Annie is worth much, much more than that. (see comments on Oaks Vets site)

SAVED MY DOG'S LIFE!!! (Twice). June last year my dog came down with a weird illness that was progressing very fast. After 3 visits to my 'former' vet, they had no answers and rather suddenly recommended I put my dog down. He's been my best buddy for over 7 years and I was heartbroken. I felt like he had more life to live and wasn't sure what to do. Finally, on the day I was supposed to have him put to sleep, a close friend suggested I get a 2nd opinion and recommended Oaks. Unlike the other clinic, I was able to have my dog seen in less than 2 hours (amazing) and to make a long story short - my dog is alive and happy as ever! It was a long road to full recovery but for me it's a miracle. 24/7 x 365 days a year...I've called them at 3am and they were happy to help. Maybe they'd prefer if I didn't say but, although it was costly to save my dog, you can't imagine the things they did for free because they cared. The whole staff is fantastic but special thanks to Dr. Houle & Dr. Tremble.

This is a modern top of the line vet clinic, and being that, monetization of services seems to be paramount. I believe they can offer more than you pet might need, at times and it's something I am wary of each time I visit. I think the owner and lead vet has an air of arrogance, which might rub some people the wrong way, so I understand the comments I am reading. He seems to be highly skilled, however. I think the saving grace of this clinic is Dr. Houle. She is smart and has excellent customer service skills. She is a vet who knows she has to earn your trust, and she does that very well. I highly recommend her.

BAD BAD BAD!!! Run while you still can! I recommend ANY other local vet clinic but do not even bother stepping in to Oaks Vet unless you want to leave with a maxed out credit card and no answers. They will misdiagnose your pet and cause you emotional and financial stress just to make some money. What a rip off!!!

This place has all the newest medical equipment. Yes, that's great, but what does it mean for the customer? Easy...they suggest different and numerous "tests" when they are not needed. Why you ask? Easy, they need to pay for them. Solution...go elsewhere. This place is a complete rip off.

I brought my senior dog in for some issues. They tested him for unecessary things, and made me feel like a bad pet owner for not undergoing all of the tests they wanted to perform. I left and called back a few days later. They doubled the price that they originally quoted me! It's robbery!!

We first went to this location looking for an urn for our dog that we had lost a few days before. They were the only ones that carried urns in the area and the prices were very reasonable. A few months later we adopted a Maltese puppy. I started going to Oaks vet with this little puppy and never regretted it, I wish I would have brought our past dog there. They are just wonderful with animals. The prices are reasonable even cheaper than other places in the area. I have peace of mind that they are open 24/hrs a day. 7 days/week. 365 days a year.

I had a terrible experience at this clinic. My pet was misdiagnosed costing me close to a thousand dollars at another vet to fix all the problems that were caused at oaks. I have also found that the staff and Vets at Oaks are not good with client communication and quite rude.

Wonderful experience, the vets there truly care about my dog and her health problems. They fixed a chronic skin problem that my old vet spent months using a 'band aid' solution. I'm glad I made the switch!!

Dr Tremble is outstanding. My advice to anyone reading these on-line comments, is to visit the office and speak with the Vet. Prices are actually lower than most clinics in the area. We have had many procedures on our dogs, and we are truly happy

Worst vet clinic in Moncton! If you want to get ripped off, then the Oaks Vet is the place to go. They botched my dogs' surgery and he had months of recovery that was unnecessary for a simple procedure. Also they would not own up to their mistakes. Their prices are outrageous, they treat their clients horribly, the clients and their pets are just walking $$$$ and that's how they treat you! I'm not sure what they did to my dog, but they turned my confident dog who never once cared if he was going to a vet, to a cowering dog that would hide under things just to avoid them! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Experience at the Oaks Vet! I strongly recommend you take your pets elsewhere for their benefit and for the benefit of your pocketbook!

Dr. Temble is an outstanding surgeon. I was impressed by his knowledge, clarity and professionalism. He is, however, someone who operates from behind the scenes. You can feel confident that your pet is in very competent hands even with the most complicated surgeries. But do not expect to receive that much attention as a pet owner. And this is not criticism -- I prefer that my vet be pet-centered and not people-centered. Some constructive criticism now. Please label medicine with detailed and clear labels. Do not put a type of medicine in a bottle that is destined for another. Try to offer options for post-op treatment (for example, injections instead of pills). Try to provide owners with pet-friendly flavoured medication. And please hire service-oriented staff if you are not going to be in contact with your clients that much. I truly understand that your priority is providing the best care to pets, but holier than thou vet techs are not serving you well. Highly recommend vet though.

I have been a client of the Oaks Vet in Moncton since last year when I found my veterinarian Dr. Karine Eusanio. She has been such an angel, she is kind and has always been upfront and respectful of our decisions. I found out this week that she is no longer practicing at the Oaks Vet due to the return of Dr. Brett Tremble and they won't say where she will be practicing. I can't believe they would not give this information to her clients! If someone finds out where she will be practicing, please post so we can all find her again.

I completely disagree with the previous rating. The Oaks has helped us through so so much. We went to so many clinics, never able to find one that could help us with our animals, until we found the oaks. You can tell they do this job because they care for animals and want to help people. They go through every single detail with you until you're comfortable and happy. Always someone there 24/7 for anything we need. Definitely will stick with this vet hospital!! Strongly recommend to all!!

This clinic is the epitome of the reasons why people gripe about veterinary costs. They were great at making their services/product sound far superior to those of other clinics in the area (to the point of being unprofessional); however, upon further research I found many other clinics to carry IDENTICAL products for substantially less. I found the staff arrogant and reeked of the "I know better than you" attitude. The clinic is very well equipped, and they do offer a lot of services, but honesty and attitude go a long way - and they have some catching up to do in those departments. Overall I was not satisfied and left feeling ripped off.
