Just before we moved to RI from Williamsburg, VA in 2001, we had a young Golden Retriever who had TPO (triple pelvic osteotomy) surgery on both hips. We had become quite attached to our veterinarian in Williamsburg who took care of our puppy during her healing. After two unhappy visits with other vets on Aquidneck Island, we found Dr. Braga. She treated us and our Golden professionally, knowledgeably and lovingly and made house calls. We have continued to use Dr. Braga to treat our Golden and our lab mix we adopted several years ago and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Braga is always very professional and caring. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Dr. Braga has cared for our dog for 8 years and has always treated us and our dog with respect. She is knowledgeable and when she doesn't know the answer she will research the problem and or set up appts to see other specialists. We also love the house-call option.

After spending $900 in testing,and the vet continuted to tell me my animal had a brain tumor. I went for a second opinon before putting him down. He ended up having an infection and after one day of antibiotics he was his old self. I had a remaining bill of $308 of which the vet Kristin Braga told me pay what you can as long as you make the effort. That's what I was doing until I went in to make a payment of $30 and pick up some insulin for my cat she ran all the tests on. I was refused the medication unless I paid $50 instead of $30. I left without paying anything. Appalled at what she had put me through thinking I'm losing my little guy and they won't take $30 but they want $50 and refused me medication. I went to another vet. I'm afraid of how many other animals she has put down that didn't need to be.
