My family started going to DR. GOLDMAN's practice a few years back when we first moved to the area. Since then him and his qualified staff have handled our cats, dogs, and rabbits with the utmost care and consideration. We have gone through check ups, spay/neuters , scans, dental work, minor surgeries, and euthanasia for our older animals with DR. GOLDMAN and his professionalism, advice, and prices have always been greatly appreciated. We also get all of our food from them, and their expertise in the area has helped resolve or manage our pets allergies/digestive problems.
Be wary of 1 star reviews when researching any product or business as the reviews are usually exaggerated, or are the customers lashing out for their own mistakes during the process/post care. While I wish my animals would never have to go to a vet, I'm glad I have the Woodgrove Animal Hospital nearby.

We are new to the island and I found Dr Goldman to be very personable, great sense of humour, very knowledgable, and fabulous with my dog. The facility is extremely clean and staff are very friendly. Costs are reasonable and my dog just loves Dr Goldman. This is definitely the Veterinary Clinic I will be bringing my bulldog to!

Rude vet who is not qualified. He sent me home with a case of speciality dog food and probiotics. My dog died 2 days later. Dog couldn't even walk when I took her in and he did nothing.

I found the vet and staff to be very rude and inconsiderate. Seemed like they wanted to recommend the most expensive treatment for my dog and not discuss any alternatives.

Started out good however, obviously lost interest and passion for the job over the years, very mechanical and poor connection with animals he is caring for in my opinion.

Dr. Goldman is the best! He gives honest advice and unbiased information so that YOU make the choice that is best for your pets health.

Dr. Goldman has looked after our pets for 15 years. He is AWESOME! He knows his stuff, he's honest about how severe things can get, but is also very kind. My cat and my dog have been going to him their whole lives. A few times when he was out of town, we had to go elsewhere....MAN DID WE MISS DR. GOLDMAN! We are spoiled by him because he's so good. No one else touches my pets now. Just him. And...my cat is PSYCHOTIC when he goes to the vet. He goes psycho, growls, hisses, screams and tries to bite. Yet, Dr. Goldman handles him with patience and humour. He doesn't get flustered and gives my pets excellent care. If there were a fan club for this vet, I would be president!

Dr. Goldman and staff are amazing. They have provided excellent care to my dogs for over 14 years. Very knowledgeable and innovative. My dog has an issue with her joints and we tried a course of treatment that has her acting like a puppy again.

Dr Goldman has looked after all our animals for the past 15 years. As another poster has indicated, you may not like what he has to say but he has your pet's best interests at heart. He is there to care for your pet, not you!! Very happy with the services here and we know others who go to this office and are pleased as well.

I had a very negative experience with this clinic...Dr. Goldman through his insistence on annual vaccines has chosen to ignore the research of leading veterinary researchers and experts such as Dr. Ronald Schultz who have demonstrated the unnecessary practice of canine and feline vaccinations after the first year of life...Goldman instead has chosen to continue on with this practice in spite of counterevidence regarding annual vaccinations being detrimental for dogs and cats. Interestingly enough, Dr. Schultz himself has admitted that his research is being ignored by a number of vets and there is strong evidence that vets who continue insist on this practice do so for monetary reasons as vaccinations bring in 14% of annual income. I have met many wonderful vets over time but I found Dr. Goldman to be quite arrogant and self-serving.

I take in rescues because I prefer to save/improve a life rather than feed the puppy millers pockets. Dr. Goldman has seen two of mine and been caring and compassionate. He doesn't mess around, he tells you what he sees and addresses the issue without sugarcoating/draining your wallet.

We rescue elder dogs and have have been going to Dr. Jeff Goldman since he opened. Over the years he has treated everything from tick bites to torn cruciate ligaments. He has always treated our animals with care and attention at a very reasonable cost. His attention to detail is exceptional as is his knowledge and skill with our animals. His staff are knowledgeable and have always been helpful. His well equipped facities have been able to handle all of our needs and he constantly is upgrading his own knowledge to better help the animals. Dr. Goldman is direct in his approach when it comes to treating the animals. You may not always like what you hear -but he has nothing but the animals best interest at heart. If you put yourself before your animal he may not be the best match for you but when it comes to our animals I cannot say enough good things about him. Thank you Dr. Goldamn for all you've done for our dogs over the years!
