This clinic is fairly priced and has very caring, knowledgable staff that provide a safe environment for your pet in stressful situations. I highly recommend this clinic and have been happy with the service provided. Our fur baby recently went through a stressful situation with an anal abscess and it was very difficult for us and our cat but the staff helped our kitty back to a full recovery.

I have a small Pomeranian (who we rescued). The poor guy had really bad teeth and breath. We took him into the vet and meet with Dr Raj and Dr Jagpal who were extremely compassionate and gentle with him. He had to have 3 teeth extracted, he had his teeth cleaned and polished, and is now a happy camper and enjoying all his treats. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone, especially if you are hesitating to take your pet to the vet. They aren't about making money, they actually do care about your pet. And follow up with you.

Fair service for my 6 month kitten.Check up/shots/neutering and tatooeing by Dr. Kumar. No complaints. No complicated hassles or extra fees. We got everything done within a few months [on Sundays too]. My kitten was calm with this vet and his assistant. Reception good.

i am very pleased with the out come. dr jag is who i see usually but he was not there the other dr was very good my dogs loved him he was not scared and didnt push other services. the boarding was good as well, did surprise visits and all the boarding dogs were clean and happy. i am definatly saying you are all right at going to this clinic, if you dont feel comfortable with one dr ask to see the other dr. Get the owner involved and this goes for any clinic.

I agree with the previous review... Dr. Jagpal is a really good doctor... he treated my dog really well... He explained everything really clearly and was really good and handling my dog... my is a little rough at times... and of course the cost was more than half the price than other hospitals... would suggest this place to anyone for sure.

I am from island my sister lives in vancouver and she takes her pet to sunshine I was visiting vancouver with chleo he got realy sick took him there and Dr. jagpal one of the best vet i have visited and the visit cost me half what I would have paid here.I will recomend sunshine and would rate them best.

The reception staff are brilliant. They're nice and helpful, however, Dr. Amir...he's a rude and unpleasant man. He basically scolded me for not being able to brush my dog's teeth, and was on the verge of yelling at me when I asked how much an extraction would be. He talked down to me like he was a god or something, not to mention that he constantly YELLS at his receptionists. Extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't go back, and I wouldn't suggest this place to someone else unless they had new doctors.

I think the ownership has changed or at least the vets that I was use to seeing have left. In the past I have seen Dr Sandhu and Dr Masako. They were both wonderful. I adopted my cat from this clinic 4 years ago and I also have a 2 year old dog. The last two times I went to Sundhine Plaza I was very disappointed with Dr Amir. First of all he was afraid of my dog for no reason. She is as gentle as can be and doesn't get that stressed at the vet. He basically refused to come near her and tried to up sell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need. I will not be going back ever again! Dr Amir has no clue what he is doing and what type of vet is afraid of dogs!!!??? Where did Dr Sandhu and Dr Masako go???:(

I have brought my dog to this clinic 4 times in the last 6 months (routine shots, eye infection, dog bite and fracture). They have been very thorough and caring every time. I particularly like Dr. Jagpul as I found he put my dog at ease and took time to explain everything. I also found that the prices are way cheaper than many of the high end clinics. As well the front desk staff are super nice and helpful. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

The two vets are Amir and Jagpal, both seem nice and Dr. J will take the time to explain everything to you. Reading the reviews below it seems that prices have changed significantly and I totally agree. They really ding you on lab work, IV fluids, urine etc.... When they order all, it's an automatic 3-400$ on your bill. Cystocentesis at the SPCA hospital is 27.75, but here they charge 50. I wanted to support Indo Canadian vets as I heard they were being discriminated against by the Vet Association. But I won't be coming back here.

I took both of my cats there, both vets and staff very caring. My first cat Zero died of cancer and my other Mew because of kidney failure (18 years). One evening, I had to take her to Atlas Animal hospital(it was 1130 in the evening and Sunshine was closed)because she was not moving but responsive. Both vets at Atlas took her xrays, etc and wanted to keep her overnight to do more testing. Came back the next day and they told me its best to put her to sleep because of a condition thats untreatable (spent $450). Decided I would rather take her to Sunshine to put her to sleep because I trust them and felt more comfortable. I took her there,they examined her, and doubted Atlas decision and wanted to save her life. They did testing and said my cat Mew had a migraine and a stroke, which she took medication for. Anyhoo, they saved her life and would recommend them to anyone but sad Dr.Masako left, she has a heart of gold. I've adopted 2 new cats and will be taking them to Sunshine.

I have been taking my both my dogs here since birth so I was taken back when Dr. Sandhu no longer works here. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Amir is nice and all but he doesn't seem to know much. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE DR. SANDHU HAS GONE?

Front desk was awesome but Dr. Amir concerned me a bit. He is a nice guy but didn't seem to know a lot. Didn't seem to be too sure of anything and what he did say didn't make much sense... I miss Dr.Sandhu...

I brought my dog in for a check up recently too Sunshine Plaza Animal Hospital. I saw Dr. Amir. I found him to be very caring, helpful and great sense of humor. I was prescribe some meds and had updated my pups vaccines. I was very impressed by the quality of the front end staff, Dr. Amir and Prices. I definaltey recommend it.

Dr. Amir is absolutely the worse vet I've encountered. A vet doesn't even have to be nice to me as long as whatever he does is good for the pet. This vet did the exact opposite. Treated me ok but scared the heck out of my cat. Abruptly, without introduction, or petting the cat or calming the cat down, he grabbed my cat very roughly. Things went downhill from then on. If you go here, make sure you ask for other vets, not Dr. Amir. The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful though!

Of course our geriatric dog got sick Friday before our Sat holidays were about to start. Luckily the great rating of this clinic had me calling and I was pleasantly surprised to discover they were open Friday evening and they didn't charge after hours fee. Our entire bill was under $200 and 85% of that was spent on special foods and medications we chose to purchase. The staff was great and the drive worth it because just to compare I called another nearer clinic that cost $200 just to walk thru the door. Very happy. Would highly recommend.

Both vets and reception are kind, patient and caring. Our dog is an anxious dog, being a shelter rescue, but they take their time. SPCA misdiagnosed a paw problem as possible food allergy, but Dr Masako saw immediately that it was an infected cut. She both educated me on the differential diagnosis and provided treatment promptly. Great pricing as well with no gouging. Would recommend.

We have been taking our cats to this vet for nearly a year now. Two of our cats are over 17 and have kidney disease. Dr. Sandhu and Dr. Masako have managed to get one cat from stage 3 back to stage 2 and the other from stage 2 to stage 1 thus prolonging their lives. I have taken them to many vets but this is the best place I have found. Their prices are reasonable too. The person above who said he/she prefers Canadian/US trained doctors doesn't understand our system in Canada. Foreign trained doctors have to pass more exams here than a locally trained veterinarian. Simply put, they have to be more qualified to practice here than a locally trained veterinarian. These doctors really care and phone to check on our pets after they have treated them. They take time to explain our pets' illnesses and they do additional research to find treatments.

I have been to several vets but this place is the best. My dog seems a lot more relaxed and comfortable during the exams/operations. Price is reasonable which is another plus. I recommend it.

Don't know how they keep getting all these ratings. Misdiagnosed my dog after spending $1500 of my money and slow to respond to phone calls. Not great communciations at all. Call me **** if you want, but I want my doctors trained in Canada or US, it makes a difference!

An excellent vet with a caring staff. when my dog was attacked by another dog they took great care of him. I would reccomend this vet to anyone

I taks all of my pets here-- 2 cats and 2 dogs. Dr Sandhu is great with them-- seems to really care about them and handles them well-- and his prices are very reasonable!

Dr. Sandhu is amazing! My dog is scared of all vet's (He's been to a lot of different vet's after tearing both hind ACL's!) But he wags his tail in there and absolutely loves Dr. Sandhu. The staff is friendly, educated, professional, and considerate. Prices were very reasonable as well. I won't hesitate taking my dog there in any medical situation!
