Poor communication with customer and staff. Possibly a less than adequately trained staff in surgery dept. Would like regulatory commission to check if proper monitoring equip is used in surgery. Originally my dog was to be scheduled for spaying. She had started spotting blood a month after her original heat. I told the vet and she said that Mar 8 was the soonest I could bring her in. that was 18 days. In that period the spotting must have been an infection that developed. By the time Mar 8 came my and 3 days preceding, My "Baby Girl" lost appetite drank water excessively. We arrived on schedule at Vets Ofc. Immediately the vet said here's one dog who is not going to get spayed today. We have to address the infection and do a CBC and x-ray.She weighed my dog and carried it to the back. I was told to call at 1pm. When I called for status. Receptionist put vet on Phone and she told me my dog died during surgery. She wasn't supposed to have surgery. A lethal dosage of anesthesia was given
