My cats have been going to NRIAH since 1987. My choice of doctors is owner, Dr Jeff Logan. I love the fact that he is not afraid to color outside the lines. He not only utilizes his extensive knowledge of veteriarian medicine but also his gut instincts to find the answer to a problem. Dr Andrea has, to some extend, the same quality. If you are willing to spend the time and energy to save your pets life, they are with you every step. I find the Techs to be as kind and caring as the doctors. Even the receptionist go out of their way to work with you when you need an appt immediately or 2 weeks. The in house lab can get most results in 20 minutes. You never have to be afraid to ask a question and a follow up phone call can be expected as soon as test results are available. As far as costs go, compared to the same test and/or meds as humans, it's a lot less. Punctuality in any doctors office is iffy but I don't mind waiting if it means better informed owners. I highly recommend this office

AMAZING STAFF!! The entire visit start to finish was a pleasure. While the prices are on the higher side, they are well worth the money.

My dog went to another LLOW price "clinic" in Pascoag which he hated. I had to drag him in. He loves this place. They may be a lil pricey, and although I'm not rich, you can't put a price on the health of your animal. I have Jennifer as our Vet there, and I must say the complete opposite from the other reviewer. She was very good with my dog. Asked alot of questions and LISTENED to me and my son about my dog. The whole exam time took over 45 minutes. We even joked about his fat pads...Poor thing. They gave me a DETAILED list of all the expenses. I went over it with the Vet, the Vet Tech and then another Vet Tech the day of the procedure and we agreed to two line items that were not needed. No high pressure sales or hidden agenda's. The building is older but the rooms are very clean. After the procedure we went over the usual after care and further vaccinations he needs and other I may want himm to have. Over all very happy.

If there were a negative rating for monetary value, I would choose it. Not that you can put a value on the life of a pet, but this practice is in business for one reason...to make as much money as possible. They not only overcharge, but are sneaky about they way they communicate the cost of procedures.

The previous 2 reviews look like they were written by the owner! Rude staff, manhandled my puppy. Female dr, can't remember her name but i think her first name is Jennifer, seemed like she was completely uninterested in hearing my opinions about why my dog is sick. Condescending. Won't go back here.

We went through so much with our dog and they took such great care of him. In the end, they were so caring when he finally reached the end. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. They really love the animals! My dog LOVED going to see them.

Warm, caring, knowledgable staff. Gives you and your pet all the time you need. Explains any problems in detail. Open 7 days a week and accepts emergency visits. Almost any procedure can be done in house. Phone calls with questions regarding follow-up treatment are answered within hours. Your pet is treated like their own.
