Dr Craig Fujioka burned my 3 yr old border collie during surgery by leaving her on a heating pad unattended following surgery. She was anesthetized and could not move. She suffered 3rd gegree burns over half her back and nearly died. I spent the following two years caring for her twice a day by cleaning treating and dressing the burns.The risk of infection was constant and a tremendous worry. She could not be exposed to the sun and had to be covered completely on walks.She was unable to continue competing in agility or sheep herding. She is permanently scarred on her back. I asked the owner of the clinic, Dr. Steve Dunbar to refund the original $1442.34 of the surgery costs due to their negligence and to offset the exhorbitant costs I was incurring in her treatment through a dermatological veterinary service for her burns but he refused to refund a single penny.
