I have been going to Yorba regional for 6 yrs, was very happy with all their vets/staff till recently. I have 3 dogs and one of them started showing signs of illness I took her in ASAP . Vet said she might have a virus or allergy and sent me home.A few days later my little dog got worse and had diarrhea & fatigue, I rushed her back to vet for an emergency visit for she was getting very ill fast. They had me sit outside on the dirty (dog poop gross unclean patio area) which I understand it's to protect the animals waiting in waiting area but it should be cleaned at least. The vet assistant came out to evaluate my pets situation, she was extremely rude !! Told me if my dog is pooping everywhere she might have brain damage and need a specialist and I'll have to go elsewhere for help after 15 minutes of her rudeness and having me in tears and distressed I started leaving to go to another vet when she ushered me into a room where I did receive excellent treatment from the vet and medication

This is a very bad place. Please read the other ratings. My experience at this hospital underscores all the negative comments made by other raters. It appears the main goal is to convince you there is more wrong with your pet than what you thought and that you need unnecessary and unwarranted testing and procedures. I took my cat in to have her teeth cleaned. She was delivered to me comatose. Previous to the procedure, the vet talked me into an unnecessary test for thyroid dysfunction. (Test turned out normal; cost $50+). When I went to pick up my cat, she was close to death. The vet said she may have 'thrown a blood clot' and I should leave her overnight. I took her home and she survived, something I do not feel would have been the case had I left her there. Subsequently, I learned that the vets earn commissions based on the number of tests, procedures, etc. they can convince clients to agree to. This is a highly unethical place. If you love your pet, stay away.

I am a past employee, and current client. While working I learned that this place does everything they can to train every person to sell more stuff than is needed. This was actually something I hated about my job. They have great doctors, great facilities, just the place as a whole is bad. If you board your pets, KNOW that they probably won’t get their toys, or their food. Things get mixed up big time back there and the kennel staff doesn’t care. The tech’s are all partiers and half the time come in hung over or slightly stoned in the mornings. Reception staff is very fake and will sell you anything you could possibly not need. As a client now, I only go here because the doctor knows my animal very well and I trust her. I will not bring any future pets here. I was glad to leave this facility as I felt like I was constantly ripping people off when they were torn apart over their loved one.

This was the worst hospital I have ever taken my pets to. I had taken in my rabbit and the vet on staff said he probably had an ear infection, 30 minutes later he was dead. They told me it was from a blood clot in the brain. Why was I not told this during the exam? Why was he not checked for this if it was a concern? I later called to complain, spoke with someone twice telling them what happened twice, and never had a return phone call. Money is their business, not your furry family. Don't go here!

I love this clinic. I found them when one of my rats (I do rat rescue) was ery sick and needed emergency treatment. We brought her right in and received utmost of care for a reasonable price even for an emergency "exotic" visit. Since then I continue to bring all of my rats and even my dog there. They are always friendly, listen to your ideas, and able to fit you in. They also offer walk-In's if needed. They are a bit pricier than other vets but not by much and they make up for it with the level of care they provide. I will never bring my pets anywhere else as Long as I live in the area.
