Scary place. Failed to properly diagnose my dog for over 5 days. 1 hour at Angell and the dog was diagnosed with a foreign body in him. Vetcision charged over $3000 for the dog to be in their "care" for 4 days. Vetcsion doctors and surgeons could not find anything wrong. They refused to offer any credit back for their poor services. STAY AWAY. Angell is 5 minutes away and will save your pets life!

Staff could hace been a lot nicer!!! they get confused the techs., i had 2 different people come in to treat my dog, which they had confused my dogs symptoms with others...1 tech? Robin, came in caughing all over the room, wasnt sure if she had right medication, had to go recheck, get more help, my dog is less than a yr old. a small breed, she wanted to MUZZEL him..he never even went anywhere near her. I said i wanted to speak to some1 else. & another vet/tech took care of my dog, which she was nice, spent time, and she did not put a muzzel on my dog (she said there was no reason i was told that) i dont complain often @ a vet. But its the 1 staff member (Robin)that shouldd not be there!!!! and dont be rude, & treat people & there pets like there a bother to you!!

Of all the specialty hosptials in the area, Vetcision is the absolute BEST in every aspect of veterinary care. The staff is warm, compassionate and knowledgable. The doctors are thorough, intelligent and kind to both clients and pets. I ended up at Vetcision after being referred to VESCONE where the the staff was RUDE and only seemed to care about money. My dog was in need of immediate medical attention and I am so glad I had the sense to not stay at VESCONE and go down the street to Vetcision instead. What a major difference in the quality of care!! THANK YOU Vetcision, my bests friend would not be here today without you!

Vetcision is a wonderful emergency animal hospital. This past summer my dog Nellie was acting lethargic and I went to a hospital named VESCONE, after waiting 2 hours and watching my dog suffer in the exam room I left and happened to drive by Vetcision. The staff was friendly, caring and took my nellie right in. They put her on fluids and kept her overnight. The next day I picked her up and she looked great. As of today shes still a healthy and happy girl. I am very thankful I stopped into Vetcision

Dr. Huss and the entire staff at Vetcision were amazing with my 10yr old lab. Dr. Huss is an expert in animal surgery and I feel so lucky that I was referred to him. Thank you for the exceptional care and committment to our animals! I will drive the hour each way to get such expertise care.

Dr Huss and his staff are fantastic! Dr Huss did a TPLO procedure on one of my Lab's knees then 6 months later did it on the other one. Now, 2 years after the second surgery, you'd never know the dog ever had a problem. It's pricy but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them and I'd go back to them in a heartbeat if my dog ever needs more surgery. The staff was very helpful and supportive. THANKS VETCISION!!

After a 30 sec. 'exam' and assumed review of a private lab pathology, Dr. Huss told me my 6 yo lab had cancer and had to be operated on immediately. Invasive and debilitating surgery and $3K later he told me it was not cancer and that I should be happy. He then shared that biopsies are only 65% accurate. Had that information been shared with me, both my dog and I would be whole. Heed the saying, when you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

I highly recommend vetcision. Dr. Huss is a soft spoken thoughtful, and caring man. He repaired my 10 year old poodle's torn acl, she has made a full recovery, and is her happy old self. The staff is caring, kept me fully informed during her stay, and followed up after she came home. If you can't afford surgery for your pet, think about pet insurance rather than attacking a man clearly dedicated to the healing of animals.

Dr. Huss is the rudest man I have ever encountered. My dog developed an infection after her surgery, and he called it an plate reaction. He couldn't even admit that it was an infection! He is rude and rips people off! His staff is great, and I feel sorry for them for having to work with such an uncaring, egotistical man. I hope I never have to deal with him again! I advise you to take your pet elsewhere if you love your animals like I do!

I was intially referred to VESCONE by my veterinarian and ended up at Vetcision by accident. Both facilities are on the same road. It wasn't until my dog was already hospitalized that I was made aware of my error by my regular veterinarian. When I asked why I hadn't been redirected to VESCONE upon arrival at Vetcision I was told that they didn't know that I had intened to go to VESCONE - but my paperwork specifically siad VESCONE, not Vetcision! I was told it was too late to move my dog to another hospital as he already had been admitted to their hospital. I was not at all impressed with this hospital, the staff, or the treatment that my dog received. He was hospitalized again at VESCONE 2 days after being discharged from Vetcision and he made a complete recovery.

Dr. Huss performed TPLO's on both of my ****'s knees, 3 years apart. After #1, she went back to her agility career, and was ranked in the Top 10 in the country for 2 years running. When knee #2 was done, knee #1 was checked for any problems or arthritis. Not a sign of anything wrong. Banja is a Rottweiler who is very hard on her body, she's very high drive. Dr. Huss and his excellent staff did a fantastic job keeping her put together. Dr. Benson also did a major surgery on my male's ear (removal of the upper 1/3rd of the canal) after a bad fight between my boys. Again, fantastic treatment by both doc and staff. My 10yr old boy healed up like a champ, in no small part due to their excellent care. I highly recommend this facility (and as a critical care paramedic, I'm VERY picky about medical care).

Dr. Huss performed TPLO surgery on both of my dog's knees and I couldn't be happier with the results! He and his staff were wonderful! They were all very knowledgable, caring and carefully answered every one of my questions (and I ask a lot!) at a level that was understandable to the lay person. Even those unseen people that I didn't actually meet but talked to on the phone, were fantastic. Initally I was nervous about having my best friend go through such an invasive surgery but every staff member I encountered helped alievate those fears. Although I thought it was a bit on the pricy side, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! If my buddy ever has another problem that needs surgery I won't go anywhere else. I HIGHLY recommend Vetcision! Thank you Dr. Huss! You and your staff are the BEST!!!

My dog had surgery on his knee by Dr Huss. It was expensive and I saw more of his support staff than I did the doctor himself. After the surgery the doctor told me that my dog's other knee would have to have surgery as well. The amount of money that I spent there was not worth it. I would have expected better treatment by the vet and the staff. The only good thing that I can say is that the staff that cared for my dog on the night of his surgery were very kind to me on the phone. Regardless, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I told my regular vet to not refer any more clients to Dr Huss.
