You just won't find a Doctor and staff who care more about you and your 4 legged family member more than the folks at Arron Animal Hospital. Theirs a real person that will pick up the phone and very knowledgeable. They do not start quoting X-rays or blood work. I've been with Arron Animal Hospital for 14 yrs now. I just can't say enough about the excellance od Arron Animal Hospital.

The most compassionate and honest vet around. I have had animals all my life and been to lots of vets. This is truly the vet to see. I highly recommend this vet They are more interested in the well being of your pets then any other vet I have ever been to. I would recommend this vet to everyone. I was recommend to this vet from a highly regarded dog trainer. So glad I gave them a chance This was the best thing I could have done for my dog.

We have been going to Dr Galmut for over 20 years for our cats. Sadly, they have both passed on now. The staff at Aaron’s are warm, friendly, kind, and helpful. Dr Galmut is wonderful. So great with the animals there. You can tell he genuinely cares for all of them. Wants what is best for them. I trust his judgement and knowledge so much.

So far so good..I can see how some people complain about his bedside manner with humans, however all that really matters to me is his bedside manner with my dog. He is excellent with her, she loves him and trusts him and that is the most important thing in dealing with a vet.

The vet at Aaron's Animal hosptial is extremely rude. I took my puppy to have his ears checked and also to get his vaccination. The vet told me to hold my dog's head. I tried to hold my dog's head still. The vet got very annoyed with me because I was not doing a very good job. My puppy was also crying, so I was talking to him and I was trying to calm him down. The vet had the nerve to look at me and say, 'don't say that'. What right do you have to tell me how to talk to my dog? He also referred to my dog as a 'turd'. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and just common decency. I just had an appointment at the Langely Animal Hosptial, and the vet I saw there was amazing, and she was very plesant and caring.

Dr.galmut is by far the best and most caring vet I have ever come across. He loves animals and is understanding and considerate to the owners feelings as well. He has helped me numerous times even giving me his cell # while my dog had a lengthy recovery after a surgery. Call anytime day or night he said. Dr galmut is a true professional and gentleman , I would not let another vet even look at my dog, even though I live over an hr away from his office now

Thank you, Aaron's staff for making my very timid dog feel safe and secure while in your care. The vet techs and Dr Galmut are gentle and so kind and patient with my shy lab and it makes her vet visits so much easier.

I am so sad to see negative comments about Dr Galmut as we have never had any issues with him. We went to him for a second opinion when we had our brand new 8 week old puppy and immediately switched our other dog and 2 cats to be his patients. He is wonderful, and always takes the time to explain things and researches things for us when needed. I would trust Dr. Galmut with any advice he ever gave us about our family members, and not once have I ever doubted his opinion

Dr Galmut is the best and in a situation that requires more expertise, I drive 4 1/2 hours to have him attend my dogs. He continually updates his skills and has for the last 22 years I have been going to him. I wish he was a GP.

The most intelligent vet I have known. People talk of "pricey" - did you know many vets don't offer humane treatment, just to keep their prices down? For example, no pain medications with surgeries. Dr. Galmut doesn't "offer" pain management - it is imperative to him that animals are treated with the needed pain meds as part of the package. He is straight forward and tells the truth. He won't do anything that isn't necessary. Amazing vet. Used by many, loved by many.

Dr. Galmut has been the vet for our four cats over a period of 30 years. He is the best vet you could ever find. He is honest, compassionate and you can tell he cares about your animals. I wish MDs were as good as he is. He gives nothing but the best treatment possible to our animals. If the animal has to be put to sleep he tells you exactly what is best for the animal's quality of life. Truly we are blessed to have him as our vet for our cats. Thank you very much Dr. Galmut.

After getting a kitten from the BCspca in surrey, I decided to try a vet closer to home, the appointment for the first visit went awkwardly, the cat was a little stuffy but he said it was just a cold, many cats from the spca have respiratory infections. Over the next 2 days the cat got worse and couldn't breathe. I ended going to Pharmasave and got holistic drops, which worked wonders. Then I found the cat had tapeworms, went back to Aaron for help and the "Dr" talked loudly to the receptionist for me to hear,"why was she back, she was just here?" hey you could try asking me instead of blowing me off. I asked how long before the tapeworms would be "voided" the receptionist/vet assist didn't understand voided and said the cat will**** it out. Hello thats what voided means!

Galmut is a terrible vet. I refuse to put DR in front of his name. I brought my senior dog to him to have his teeth cleaned and some fatty tumors removed. They barely shaved enough fur from the surgical sites (2) and both became severely abscessed. My poor dog woke up screaming in the middle of the night from the pain...and he was a tough boy. Galmut refused to see him as they were busy the following day and told me to take him to the PetSmart vet in Langley. I took him back to Dr. Andrews of Crescent Beach Vet who I used when I lived in that area. They immediately opened the surgical sites which were full of pus, and he removed black objects from the closed incision sites. He fully shaved the area so hair could no longer infect the wounds, inserted drains and carefully closed him back up. Galmut almost killed my dog, but Dr. Andrews of Crescent Beach Vet saved his life.

Dr.Galmut has been the best vet ever, veterinary services can seem pricey, but shop around a little and you'll see there are more expensive vets that are less knowlegable. After hours has never been a problem and my concerns are reviewed quickly. Bill has never been rushed , even after a couple of months in some cases.

Whole experience was terrible. He was made me wait as he ate his morning muffin. Meanwhile my dog was loosing ability to hold up his head. I had to ask for oxygen and a shot for shock because he was waisting time with warm microwave bags. I held my dog and said "he is dieing" And he laughed and said, no no he isnt as he grabed him from behind for a paulse and said, oh yes, he is passing now. I was on the floor with my dog, the receptionist was balling and all he could do was tell her to make sure i pay my bill before i leave. He never said a thing to me. The bill was like $500. I was such a mess, holding my dead dog, the girl told me just to walk out. So I did. And, i think she riped up the bill too. She was mortified he had so little clue as to my dog dying and how he treated me. He has a very big attitude about himself and ive heard that from many.80% of the people i know who used him as their vet, dont now. Slowly he just became a jerk.

Dr. Galmut is the best vet I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is expensive, but this is balanced with his honesty and realistic diagnoses and treatments. You know that he would never do anything to your pet without full justification that it is the best answer. He will always give the options and respect your choices as the owner. He is compassionate and non-judgmental. Dr. Galmut's love of animals and commitment to his job is palpable. His private practice is his own and not a chain or hospital built up to be bigger than should be with a high staff turn-over for the sake of profit. He is steady and careful and pets feel safe with him. I love Dr. Galmut because he epitomizes everything that I value in a doctor - he is smart, generous, respectful and kind. What you see is what you get. So even though I have three dogs and the bills can get high, I would never consider another vet. The risk is too great. It is best to stay with a trustworthy professional. :-)

If I could give a rating of 10 I would. I have been seeing Dr.Galmut for 6 years and will be a client for life. He is compassionate, mindful of treatment options, and overall gifted. He is the best I have ever met and feel lucky he is part of our lives. We have an English Mastiff that is coming up on his 10th birthday which is unheard of. I credit this to the level of care we have received from Dr. Galmut. He is the best!

Been seeing Dr. Galmut for several yrs. I agree he charges more than the average but he's been in this practive over 20yr in Cloverdale and you can charge what you want and be picky about who you deal with after 20 yrs in business. He's straight and honest about his diagnosis and explains medical details with patience and compassion. Honest and no bs. Suggests the simple procedure first before doing drastic measures. Always patient when you have questions and doesn't mind the raw diet. Great surgeon! Doesn't cheap out on anethetics to keep prices low.

I have been to other vets, but that wont be happening again. The Vet was amazing. It was like he was dealing with his own personal dog. As my dog is now almost 13, I know I will be using him again soon.
