Won’t be going here ever again. Because of this place, my puppy now has some severe anxiety and trauma with going to any vet. There was no easing into anything, nope they just grabbed him “like an animal” did their assessment and shot him with vaccines. The second round of shots my sweet puppy was so nervous, when the vet walked into the room he immediately peed out of fear and started shaking. (Dogs are pretty keen on people’s energy and that screamed negative everything to us). This male vet was so rough with our puppy, our dog was so on edge, he also ended up defecating on himself and on my jacket when he was handed back to me from the vet.
This place is a terrible experience. I wish we hadn’t come back or given them a second chance, they sure didn’t give me ANY reason to want to. I wish I had found another place to get the remainder vaccine. :/
Thanks to Bluemound animal hospital and this terrible male vet, my puppy has severe anxiety.

I like the care and services that my pets recieve at this animal hospital. I have 4 ferrets that see Dr. Wertz. He is caring and knowledgable about all types of animals! He understands people are on a budget and offers the best options accordingly. Highly recommend!

I have now been with Bluemound Animal Hospital for a little over a year. I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of care they've provided for my 2 puppies.

This clinic is clean and up to date. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have been very, very impressed!

I have used the vets here for over 20 years and for 12 dogs. I have always been satisfied with the medical knowledge, advice and respect I have received. They have always given me treatment OPTIONS. They understand having 3-6 dogs at a time can be quite costly and occasionally give me a little price break. I feel they care about me as well as my dogs. They are interested in treating us as a family. Compassionate, sympathetic, caring, thorough, without going overboard. I particulary like Dr. Wertz and Dr. Bitter. I think they have understood my samoyeds and my chihuahuas both as breeds as well as their individualities. They are very gentle in their approach to my chihuahuas which is very important, and they do not have behavior issues at the vet. All of my chihuahuas (6) LIKE going to see Dr. Wertz!
