For two years, I was satisfied with CPAH. However, early in 2008, my old cat Smokey fell ill. I took him to CPAH three times where hiss congestive heart failure was missed, even though it was obvious on the X-rays taken there (recognized immediately by the emergency vet). As a result, Smokey deteriorated quickly without any medication for over two weeks. I then read on the Internet that his symptoms were consistent with a serious heart disease and should be treated urgently and asked to have him put on rescue medication and refered to a cardiologist. The medication started helping immediately. Unfortunately, it was given too late, and the disease had progressed and weakened Smokey. He died at the ER after a sedative was administered to him. The hospital owner, Dr. McMichael refused to acknowledge the errors and proceeded to deny that congestive heart failure is diagnosed on an X-ray, which is untrue: X-rays are a primary tool in diagnosing it.

All of the doctors at this facility are very proficient and truly care about your animals. I've had nothing but great experiences with all the staff, and they are very understanding about owner concerns. Treatment estimates are always offered and the doctors' experience always leaves you with the best treatment option without spending a huge amount of money. I would recommend this hospital to anyone!
