Dr. Johnston is terrible. The same night she misdiagnosed a Sheriffs K-9 she did the same with my yellow lab. She refused to listen to me the dog's owner and insisted my dog had fluid on the lungs pneumonia. I told her my dog had allergies and needed a steroid or cortisone shot. She refused to listen. My lab was peeing all over the place. Previously my dog had under gone tests at a speciality hospital in San Diego. I had to take my dog to our vet in San Diego and he immediately gave her the steroid injection. It turned out not only did Dr. Johnston lose the K-9 that night but dehydrated my dog so badly that within 6 mos. I lost my dog to kidney and liver failure. Somewhere along the way I hope she learned to shut her mouth and listen to the owner. A couple of years prior my lab had similar problems and I got lucky the veterinarian listened to me. Beware of the above veterinarian .

Great prices for the only emergency clinic around. Sometimes cheaper than normal vets on certain things. They are usually busy so the staff doesn't really have time to chit chat but they are nice to be around when it's not so hectic. I am thankful for them. I had a cat with leukemia and living down the st. was a blessing since we rushed him there a few times.

I can't say enough good things about this hospital! My dog had been to 3 vets in a week and no one could figure out what was wrong with him. Luckily someone told me about this emergency clinic and it took them a few hours to diagnose my dog with Addison's disease, they saved his life!

i worked at this clinic for ten years as a tech. It is as busy as a county E.R. The medicine practiced here is as good as it gets, and sets the standard for other emegency pet hospitals. There are a handful of vets that work here, all are excellent. The fees charged are low comparitively. Patients are seen on a triage basis. The wait on a weekend or holiday can be hours if your pet is not actually dying. If your pet is hospitalized on a busy weekend/holiday, take the staff snacks or pizza! Know that every person employed there works EVERY HOLIDAY, ALWAYS. They are truly dedicated and usually hungry.

Absolutely the best. Have helped me many times and I find their rates to be very reasonable compared to emergency vets in the LA area.

Other than having to wait forever these guys were great! They were reasonably priced for an emergency clinic and were wonderful to my kids!
