Everyone is so friendly and professional and are obviously animal lovers! I have seen all the doctors and they are good, but I love Dr. Reeder. Prices are comparable with other area clinics, but the service is far superior. They have taken great care of my dogs for over 10 years now, and got one of them through a terrible illness. The groomers are also good, they book up very quickly so plan ahead if you want to use them. The facility is clean, bright and cheerful, parking can be a problem at busy times. The receptionists are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help.

$52 for vet visit,including any vet tech booster shots, which can add up quickly with a puppy. One of the vets is not very familiar with giant breeds or with proper nutrition. She recommended to us not to buy the cheapest food from Walmart, but was ok with Science diet and other mass produced food. The second vet was more knowledgable about giant breeds. But both times I was not impressed with their evaluation efforts of my dog (checked weight and temperature and looked in the ears). They also did not indicate to a first time dog owner that they should have the puppy fecal tested for worms.

I live in Alex, VA but travel to Waldorf (used to take family dogs there) to see Dr. Phillips. He is the BEST! He's so caring and was so great with my 17 year old dog when her health was declining and when she eventually had to be put down for kidney failure. I absolutely trust him - he's amazing! The staff is super friendly and they treat your pet like a person. Totally worth the drive!
