Where do I start....I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Shamrock. I have never been disappointed with the service or treatment I have received at Shamrock and I am there enough I can genuinely say that! The never fail to listen to me and treat my animals as they were their own. I always get the answers I need to hear, although may not necessarily want to hear. They have gone above and beyond for my "kids" on more than one occasion. I know when I lose an animal it is hard on them too. One special occasion comes to mind when a very dear bunny succumbed to an ailment we had been fighting to treat. They went as far as to visit me to explain results, drop off a beautiful card and flowers. I am sure I have given them cause at times to scratch their heads or even question my sanity. They are always there with compassion and understanding for both the 4 and 2 legged patient. I think the absolute world of them.

I have a territorial American Cocker Spaniel she is more relaxed around female vets and a Canadian accent is a bonus. This dog does better when her space is respected. No other dog I have owned has been like this.I appreciated Joans gentle aproach. Molly did not involuntary pass urine much to my relief. This is a very affectionate dog to myself and family.

Dr. Judith, the Vet Assistants and the other vets have taken excellent care of my cat and dogs for 2 years. My 15 year old border collie spent her last 2 years living a quality life due to Dr Judith's palliative care. Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Dolly. The vet and assistant came to our home and helped us through this most difficult time with their kind, gentle care of Dolly. After she passed, they listened to our memories and hugged us. You couldn't find more caring vets.

I brought Chyan, my dog in for emergency diagnostics and treatment and Dr. Judith was amazing! She did everything in her power to provide Chyan and I with the best possible care. A very compassionate, caring person who went above and beyond in every way possible. I came over from Tofino and I will continue to use this facility if so needed :)

I was visiting Comox with my pets and had a minor emergency that couldn't wait to be seen by my regular vet in another province. The vet I saw (Dr. Judith) had ZERO bedside manor and seemed to be afraid of my 10-month-old puppy. My pup can be a bit fearful and reactive to new people, but she made me muzzle him before she would approach him. He is small and loud, but has never bitten and has never worn a muzzle. After putting on the muzzle he began thrashing and was terrified, so I took it off and asked her to continue without. She did, but made me hold his head and show her his injury so she didn't have to get close or touch him. A vet should not be scared of a >30lbs puppy and should know how to handle fear reactivity. I was not happy with the care provided and am glad to be able to visit my own vet again.

Second visit today and was as impressed today as I was six months ago . They were able to fit us in and apologized more than once about us having to wait when in fact we only waited 10 minutes . Saw a different vet today , Judith who was outstanding as was the vet we saw in January named Joan . Prompt , professional , knowledgeable and caring service .

Staff are always friendly. Facilities are clean and well organized. I have never had to wait for long. Service charges are in line with other clinics. I fallowed Dr Pam Woods from her clinic to Shamrock, many years ago, and have not regreted it.

All the vets and staff at this clinic are amazing. My dogs LOVE going and even my cat doesn't mind. They remember my animals and call to check up on how things are going. The vet techs make the experience so much fun for my animals its seriously one of their favourite places to visit. I always feel like they're giving me all the treatment options and never pushing me to more expensive treatments until we give something more conservative a try. Dr Saskia is worth her weight in gold because of her knowledge and compassion. She is trustworthy source of information for large/giant breeds and has given me incredible words of wisdom and encouragement that allowed me to help my dog overcome his behaviour issues. That being said, I have had exceptional experiences with Joan and I have never seen a cat love a vet until I met Pam.

They have always gone out of their way to take care of our dog who has not been the best patient because she is afraid of vets. I've even had them come to our house to give our dog her shots. The office staff are pleasant and helpful.

I can't begin to describe how lucky my animals are to have the Shamrock Clinic as their vet. I have a multitude of animals of my own and deal with rescues as well. They give outstanding care to both the 4 and 2 legegd patients. It's like being seen by a family member.Best care paws down.

As previous clients of Dr. Pawel Palkiewicz, who is now joining this clinic, our comments pertain to him alone. Dr.Palkiewicz has been our family vet in Kelowna for the past 2-3 years. He has always treated our 3 dogs as the beloved family menbers that they are. We have had a few unusual issues with 2 of our dogs and he went above and beyond our expectations to determine treatment options, learning and performing new procedures and techniques to eliminate costly trips for us. We are sure that our dogs have had him scratching his head in wonder, but he has always been professional, understanding and very cooperative. He has always made us feel more like a friend than a client and we will miss him tremendously. We are certain that this same caring treatment will be provided by him in Comox.

We have utilized this vet clinic for a few years, from birds, guinea pigs, cats and dogs Joan and Saskia have gone above and beyond for both the four legged and the two legged. We have found Joan to be willing to try different treatment options even though they may not be familiar to her. She has given our cat a new lease on life. We appreciate the openness policy this clinic has as well the compassion when dealing with our beloved pets. We are truly blessed to have our favorite VT Cris that understands our pets and vice versa our pets love her too :)

Vets and techs are very good. The front line staff are a bit on the cold side.

This vet office is amazing! They are polite and caring, and the vets are very knowledgable. I take my small animals there (anywhere from rats to bunnies to mice to hedgehogs to whatever) and Dr Joan has always done the right thing for them, and even went out of her way to diagnose my mouse. It is also quite inexpensive for the amount and quality of care you get. Definately my first choice for ANY animal need!

Outstanding care of both two and four legged patients. The genuinely care and have a great deal of compassion. Just how a family doctor should be!
