Compared to most other vets: the price is lower, but by the time they add-on extra 'pushed', unnecessary procedures like a sneaky car mechanic does: you still end up paying in the hundreds & up. The vet that the other rater accused of killing her dog (Dr.O) was my cats' vet & he definitely seemed spaced-out & mentally-slow when I went there. I didn't feel confident w/his knowledge at all. The staff is not polite or knowledgeable & do not know how to handle a high-stress environment in an orderly, conductive fashion for the clients. I honestly only go here for the prices with times being as hard as they are & vets committing highway robbery everywhere with their prices, its sad that we are forced to put our loved ones' lives on the line while trying to extend or save their lives. All I can recommend is: I'd be wary of the spays/neuters there after what the other rater said @ her dog & be wary of any other meds they use b4 taking your pet there.

My dog died here. I took him here for a neuter surgery that never occurred and my dog is died. The treatment here is unacceptable. They stated in court that they use Xylazine because it is cheap, and they don't do exams on animals.

This clinic uses XYLAZINE, not recommended by the drug manufacturer, 100mg/ml which is what was used on my dog it is used for Cattle, Horses & Deer. This drug carries a risk factor 43 times higher than a comparable safer drug. I was not informed that this clinic is operated by last chance rescue group where apparently this drug is acceptable to use. My dog died from adverse drug reaction to this drug. He was found to be a normal, healthy dog by a necropsy (autopsy) that was done. I was told that the standards of care are different when at a rescue or shelter, my dog was neither, he was owned and loved greatly. This drug is cheaper than comparable drugs that are safer. I was charged even though my dog died here. I was told this happens. The FDA Report filed by the drug manufacturer who are upset by the off label useage, I gave no informed consent to use this drug on my dog. My heart is broken. He will never be forgotten. This should have never happened.

The value and care given to my two puppies is amazing. I have taken my pets there from routine shots to their spay and neuter. St Charles Animal Hospital quoted me $650 for a neuter and the Waldorf Animal clinic quoted me $500 for a spay, while the Well Pet Clinic did the spay and neuter for under $150. The staff are very friendly. The place is not fancy- but it is well kept and cleaned. I only wish they were open more hours for regular vet visits.

An office visit for 10 dollars and reasonable prices for spay neuter are some of the great points for this vet hospital. The staff there is so nice! They took great care of my dog!!
