I told the vet that my cat was suddenly peeing outside the box, and he asked if I wanted to give her up to a no-kill shelter. No! I just want to find out what's wrong. Turns out she had some tumors that Westbrook Animal Hospital never noticed. We had to have her put down by a different vet clinic.

My cat went to this clinic when he was a member of "friends of feral felines" to be fixed and to be given shots. According to the woman and the paperwork he "climbed the walls" and had an accident. It has been three months and since I have had him he has been amazing! I brought him in today after setting up the appointment and telling them exactly who he was (to which they could have warned me in advance). When I got there they told me that I would have to bring him back tomorrow to be sedated. I said, in good conscience I could not do that unless the vet looked at him first. The doctor would not even LOOK at my cat. Once a bad cat always a bad cat I guess. Shouldn't vets at least look to see if there is a change?! I will be bringing him to a different vet on Saturday who promised they would at least LOOK at him before making the decision.
