The facility is small and unimpressive; however, the care received here is fantastic. Dr. Foland spends a lot of time getting to know you and your pet, asking questions, explaining everything, etc. I have two large dogs and he always takes a few minutes to interact/play with them first before commencing with the exam. In other words, he gains their trust so that they feel comfortable with him. He doesn't force large dogs to sit uncomfortably on an exam table like most other vets I've gone to. Instead, he gets down on the floor with them and conducts the exam there. Amazing! This man is a true professional and genuinely cares about animals. He will be honest & direct with you, discuss the level of care available within your budget, and tell you what you're doing well as a pet owner, rather than just barking orders. Don't let the small facility turn you away from this excellent veterinarian!
